It was cold at the start yesterday, not sure we are going to carry on in big numbers after the Sheffield game, the idea is to build it up till Oct 13th.
However, been told that from November you can see the
whole pitch as they are knocking down the near side stand.
If there's general condemnation on the hill of people having a pop at fellow fans choosing to go into the ground then that's great.
One point on banners. They're great, they end up photographed in newspapers and are a good way for a group of people to get a message into the media. There was one yesterday saying 'FA and League - take note!' - good. There was another saying 'ACL - SISU - FL. Talk to each other.' - great.
With these two points in mind, could you tell the bloke with the 'if you are a true sky blue do not enter' banner to sling his hook? Photos of that have appeared in the media, making the story one of in-fighting in the fan base rather than the ludicrous situation that's causing the divisions.
It doesn't infuriate me. I just think it's a little embarrassing. I remember Linnell saying something like "and many fans say they will support their team from the hill that overlooks Sixfields. It's been dubbed 'Jimmy's Hill' by some fans. Cringeworthy.
That's alright both Northampton and City will have to play on that., can imagine it gets very wet down on the pitch.

Walking from the Ricoh back to the Greyhound pub in the dark ,wet and wind along the canal is worse. At the Hill you have a pub across the road.I have to say I admire you all for standing on the hill. I just wonder whether in a months time when it starts to get wet and dark and windy you'll still be up there. The wind can be bitter up there.
The only time our team has played in front of a massive home crowd, outnumbering the opposition by 28000 to 2000 or thereabouts, was last year against Crewe, and if I'm not mistaken, that didn't really make a difference and inspire them to a victory......
I'm sure the players area aware of the support for them outside the ground, and also know why fans are not going to Northampton, in or out of the ground.
What we all want is for CCFC supporters to be inside a ground in Coventry (or is that wrong?)
Yes ok thats a good point, well Let me turn the question around then and ask whether people think that because the younger less experinced players in the team no longer have the presure of playing in front of an expectant crowd at the Ricoh, that their football has benifited and the smaller crowds have actually made us a better team?

We could fill the Hill, I suppose.Whats going to happen when a side like Wolves effectively bring enough people to the ground to fill it and turn it into their home game. Are people still going to bycotte it and hand considerable advantage to the opposition? What if by then we are in a real position to make the playoffs and get out of this aulful division and every friendly voice in the stands really does make a difference... what then?
