Was it? Wasn't it?

I personally thought it was, there were a couple of players in the way but it doesn't look like he overhit his touch and thought thought to go down.

Don't doubt he put a bit into the fall, but it looked like there was contact.

to be honest i can understand why the ref might have thought he dived he had dived in the 1st half on the edge of the box and should have probably been booked then. i was sat in 20 so have no idea about the pen

Will we ever get a league penalty again? Starting to think we won't.

I was having a piss at the time so missed it but everyone sat around me certainly thought it was and SP certainly did in his CWR interview and IIRC he said he'd seen a replay.

Too theatrical for my liking. Gave the ref a chance to blow for simulation too easily

Then again would have been interesting to see what the ref would have done with no pen spot laid down?

We don't really seem to be getting any luck this season with pens. Surely due some soon. I wonder how much higher up the table we'd be if we had a couple of pens that we should've had. Seem to remember another when we had a recent draw which would've been 2 extra points along with potentially an extra 2 today...

Has SP said something to piss the refs off, we don't seem to be getting much recently.

Didn't see it thanks to the absolutely massive queue for a hot chocolate at H.T. That the place I bought mine only had half of the shutters open was a bit lame-they could have had twice as many staff serving instead of having one to simply take a pie off a shelf and then hand it to another person and another to take the money. Obviously being supervised by an ex-Subway employee...

Looked like a pen from block 16 in my non biased opinion.

We'd have had to have put them all away for them to have made a difference
