If I didn't know better , I'd swear he was out jumping BHSB . same hairstyle too :smuggrin:

Good job Gilzean didn't have much hair or the ball might have ended up in the net. He looked an oldie back then.

Old Coop the Scoop looks a bit Rockabilly getting that header off.
BHSB, couldn't possibly comment on that but maybe shades of Ralph Coates,who was my other but I think incorrect candidate in that photo.

Mick Coop was a great player for us.

Watched him score a 25 harder in to the top corner , East stand at Highfield Road.

Didn't realise how much he looked like a Leonard Nimoy ( Spock) tribute act.

Blockley is a good bloke.

Often meet him, normally near the 19th hole.

Always has a tale to tell.

One for the anoraks Wingy looking at the badge I'd guess a Duple bodied Daimler Roadliner, if so quite a rare beast.

I'm sure back in the 70's Mick Coop was a very low handicap golfer and regularly turned out for Rugby GC in the Mid Warwickshire League.
