Thanks for the response to my first blog post on the Football League's Fit and Proper (Owners and Directors') Test.

My second CCFC related post is up - this time it looks at the Football League's Insolvency Policy - or it would do, if it wasn't a secret!

"Ignorance is no defence - except where the Football League's rules are concerned"

Thanks Wingy.

I've edited it to replace the short link with the full URL.

Great blog post, many thanks.

It does rather make one wonder about the competence of the Footbal League. I've seen a number of posters here who when asking questions of the FL are simply directed back to their published rules. Like you say, it's pretty difficult to know whether SISU/Otium have complied with their unpublished rules!

(Edit) Thanks here are obviously directed at the author, FLB. Though wingy deserves credit too for spotting the deliberate mistake.

It certainly illustrates the difference in knowledge between a specialist foooball Administrator and a regular company Administrator. Very enlightening and explains why they would'nt have wished for the ACL option.

excellent piece again. this thing about no-one being able to see the policy sounds really dodgy and something the trust should really be looking to pressure them on. if thats the way the FL work they might as well just come out and say we make it up as we go along.
