Why did the football league announce last Monday that the club could play in Northampton without firstly consulting with all parties including ACL and possibly the Council to doubly confirm that the club could no longer play at the Ricoh and even to try and broker a deal between the warring factions
They seemingly made their decision after speaking with just to one party SISU and then confirming with Northampton town.
I find this one of the most disturbing factors in all of this mess the football leagues lack of interest in trying to help which was briefly spoken about by Joe Elliot on the radio yesterday and also another disturbing factor the new football league chairman telling a referee at Hinckley that he felt sorry for the Cov fans Maybe he should look in the mirror this morning and ask himself did he cover all angles and try everything in his power and did he bother to get in his car and drive to the Ricoh and call all sides together and broker a solution, he could have called in on the way to Hinckley.
The Football league have now embarrassingly after much pressure decided to now speak with ACL and Coventry City Trust but the comical situation continues as if they hopefully decide to overturn their previous decision this will then possibly start legal proceeding so the mess just rolls on
Heads should role in the Football league particularly as mentioned on their website "The Board did not take this decision lightly' ??? they didn't take it lightly?? they could not even be bothered to speak with all parties before announcing their decision

Because it was a request from the proposed new owners, otium , nothing to do with ACL or CCC in the FL eyes. They will say they acted on information given to them by the would be owners, now with this new Hoffman proposal the goalposts perhaps have moved. The FL chairman has stated allowing fixtures to be played in Northampton was a difficult decision and implored all parties to get together and sort an agreement out asap. It will be interesting what stance they now take.

I'm sure ACL will show the FL a picture of well manicured pitch marked out at the Ricoh just begging to be played on.
