I love when this is repeated all-night on Freeview . Only L1 and L2 this week, but still plenty of CIty-related bits of interest.

I've mentioned elsewhere, another cracking Madine goal-struck low from the edge of the area. Not bad for a big target-man.

Other TFLS highlights include Northampton's Michael Jacobs (a fromer AT target) looking far too good for his level. Taking dangerous set pieces, shooting well and dictating the game with his passing. I like what I see.

If we want a cheap wide-man who can cross, Ryan Hall at Southend is having a great season. Ex-Palace youth, went away to non-league Bromley and has battled back superbly. Quick and with a wand of a left foot. Offers a goal-threat, too.

Best RB in the lower leagues? Sam Hatton at AFC Wimbledon. Again, a quality crosser and very good short passer. It'd be awesome to re-unite him with Hussey, but it's probably more likely that they'll reunite Hussey with Hatton by buying him back when we're in the same division.

And whenever Scott Shearer makes a save, the Crawley fans chant "Shearer! Shearer! Shearer!". Genius. Hmm, top end of L2..we could be playing against him in the league next season!

Yeah, I love watching the FLS. There are some cracking players in the lower leagues. I remember at one time not too long ago when I would have swapped the whole Rochdale team (including manager) with ours.

Too right. Lots of quality there, especially the big centre-back Dawson who's at WBA now-they got him from non-league. And the gaffer? He was my no.1 choice to replace Coleman or Boothroyd-Keith Hill. Doing well at Barnsley..

The other highlight was seeing another guy we've been linked with, James Constable at Oxford, bagging 2 goals with lovely finishes. But we probably can't afford any of the players I've mentioned!

The way things are going we'll be dreaming of being Plymouth - still at least we've already had our Peter Reid outing.
