Is there really any interest for this one ? Surely, the priority for this season is surviving in league one ??

Something special about the FA cup for me. Nothing comes close for club football. The league is obviously very important though

with the current situation at ccfc,i just feel the priority should be league one survival this season.we're hardly going to make a bundle out of it either.

Ridiculous attitude..there is no causation between "concentrating on the league" and doing well. If anything, the cup can add to our form and I know many are curious as to what would happen should we get a big team at home at some stage.

Did you mean to post this last season? Priority this season is getting into the top six and take it from there.

Of course there is. There is a lot to be said for maintaining a winning run and feel good factor among the players. We're out of the other two cups already so it's hardly like we're competing on all fronts.

Don't understand you're comment regarding surviving in league one as everyone knows we're heading for automatic promotion!

As for the FA Cup it seems that there has been recent disinterest by the top clubs who are more concerned with the rich pickings available from European football. The FA cup has and will always be special especially for the minnows who look forward to a decent cup run. There does appear to be recent apathy from fans regarding the FA Cup judging by the low attendances it now attracts which I find both mystifying and disappointing.

In general I really don't care about any of the cups but it's important to keep up a winning mentality. The league has to be the main priority. Always.

would be great to get to the third round and draw a big prem team at home just to see how SISU respond if there's a game that could sell out the Ricoh.

They would prefer to switch it to the other teams ground.

Last year we played an excessive amount of cup games; League Cup - 3; JPT - 6; FA - 3. Which did have a consequence on the league - the last three JPT games were followed by league defeats the following Saturday.

Think we can afford to make it to 3rd round without effecting league too much. Need to reach 2nd round as their is no league fixture on that day, unless a holiday would be of benefit!!
