So you have a list of trade agreements but not what they are. The devil is in the detail. But of course you won't mention the detail if you find out what it is.

Are you saying this is our way forward? As you seem to think that we don't need to have much to do with the EU to get a trade deal with them.

I’m not saying anything. You’re saying it isn’t possible. It clearly is and you don’t have to look for very long to find that out.

Do you agree with Astute that we would then need to stay in the SM?

We shouldn’t have to no. I’m sure the Eu would initially try and take that approach but in the end economic sense would prevail

Seems you are in agreement that membership gives us the best possible deal. Use the existing rules on FOM and block any further integration that we don’t like should keep you happy.

Basically this whole Brexit crap is damaging and, if you ignore the lies spread by leave, a total waste of time and energy.

You are so funny at times.

Earlier you said that I twisted your words when I quoted your exact words. But what you have always done is twisted what I have said about why people voted leave as my own thoughts. Or when I have mentioned infrastructure problems you made it out that I wanted out of the EU for these reasons.

Yes we are better off in the EU. I have said this countless times before. But it isn't all good as you try to make it out to be.

Economic sense from which side?

It is a game of poker. We showed our hand when parliament voted against leaving without a deal. We would have to at least look as though we would be willing to leave without a deal to get a free trade deal without being a part of the single market. And that is even if they were willing to offer it anyway.

Utter nonsense, the only person who has just claimed the EU would offer the UK a deal is Grendel.

Why would you worry about parliament keeping the UK in the SM if you are all for remain and moving to France?

Are you real?

What sign is there so far that we will remain in the EU?

So what is the next best thing? Oh yes. Staying in the single market. But shall we ignore the truth?

Show me where I have said it isn't possible. Of course you can't. But it looks good in a post that goes against everything you have said since you voted for UKIP.

Look back. I said I can't see the EU offering it to us without keeping to what it stands for. And one of them is FOM.

I can't believe this bullshit. As soon as I try and have a debate with certain people it starts again. Even when they have to go against everything they have said previously.

No. You stated we wouldn't need to keep FOM to be able to trade freely with the EU.

I will admit I am wrong if someone can explain to me how I am wrong. But this doesn't mean saying the EU would make an exception for us because there has been no sign of it.

Apparently you won’t admit that you are wrong.

Apparently?

Show me where I am wrong then. A few of you are even contradicting what you have said in the past to try and make me look wrong. But still waiting for someone to show me.

So go on then. How will it be easy to get a free trade agreement with the EU without keeping in the single market? Or if we stay in the single market show where there is a probability of us not keeping FOM.

This is how silly a few of you have got again. You spend a couple of years saying how hard it would be then make out it would be easy when I say so.

I still think the EEA will be most likely but now more than ever I think there is a real chance the UK will stay in the EU.

Even Grendull has told you that you’re wrong and you still won’t accept it. I’ve given you examples of crown dependencies and you still won’t accept you’re wrong. I’ve given you a link to the list on Wiki and you still won’t accept you’re wrong. Someone has mentioned Canada specifically and you still won’t accept you’re wrong. Grendull has mentioned that at least one country on the list has a full free trade agreement and I assume he means Mexico which renegotiated the existing free trade agreement to include agriculture but you still won’t accept that you’re wrong.

You either don’t understand your own point (possible) or you’re just too stubborn to admit that you got it wrong (also possible).

I see one of the ERG has resigned from the group today acknowledging that there’s a hardcore amongst it that wants a “unicorn brexit” and through their faith in something that’s not possible will vote down anything that doesn’t resemble said “unicorn brexit” basically stopping brexit full stop.

Tory quits ERG for 'endangering Brexit'

Out of interest which specific one are you talking about? I remember it being announced last year that Mexico’s trade deal with the EU had been negotiated to include agriculture so for all intents and purposes was a complete FTA without freedom of movement.

No. And it won’t as wages are rising and we have full employment.

The problems here for me are: climate change, record heat reduced crops of barley = beer price increases. Full employment = lack of staff and higher wages. Minimum wage = higher wages( but excuse for sales price increase) High rents = staff need more money to live. Customers have less spending power. Brexit = Stock piling. Had to order UK beer and cider for the summer to make sure there are no complications when/ UK leaves. Impacts Cashflow and takes storage space.

German companies are optimistic to get through this quickly according to polls.

Never realised that the E.U./South Korea FTA was so comprehensive. Interestingly it’s also one of the FTA’s Fox hasn’t secured a roll over for.

So price wise, what does a pint of UK beer cost in your place compared to say a pint of German lager type beer ?
I pay £ 4.50 now for my Erdinger.

€4,60 for some, €4,20 for Heineken and €3,90 for draught Schneider Weiße. All 0,5l. €6,90 for Coventry Craft Beer 0,5l. I have to raise the price by 20c when I get back from Cov.

I’ve always maintained that the EEA would be the most likely option but admit that I did think it looked grim a couple of weeks ago. Now though I think the chances of the UK leaving at all are smaller.

Unbelievably it’s not the first time we’ve agreed on something and I’m sure it won’t be the last. The only person showing desperation is yourself. If you were right I’d agree with you, but you’re not.

You, SB and Tony have been spinning a story which is the opposite of what all 3 of you have been saying for ages. It is pathetic. Why should I put up with it?
