I suppose it is if you don’t have a constructive argument as to why you don’t like him.

He also explained his reasoning for that. I suppose he hit the nail on the head as far as many are concerned. The country needs people to get up and say clearly why we have to have another referendum. The whole thing is a mess and in a usual democracy you have a choice when there is a plan on the table. Labour and Tory leadership don’t offer an alternative to Brexit. There is no real choice. Crap decision or less crap decision. Remain should be back on the table. Half the country want it.

Anyone that wants a second referendum is a moron in my eyes, so I don't really need to go into any further detail as to why I don't like him.

Getting ready for a leadership battle?

She had a majority of 800 IIRC. She is MP in an area that voted leave. But she is in her 60's. Not exactly looking for a long future in politics so no problem for her to be following what she believes in.

But she isn't your typical MP.

She might be looking for a long cushy retirement to the HoL

"Alledged...claims...allegations"...no facts, nothing proven. I haven't seen or heard him show ANY bias on Brexit (nor anything else tbh)

Sticker...the sort of thing many of us would display - it can be part of humour. Like have you ever told a joke, or laughed at one about gays? Does that mean you are homophobic?

Like I said...subtle form of bullying in an effort to distract & discredit to get him replaced by a Brexit sympathiser who would perhaps show some bias. Personally I would rather stick with the current Speaker.

The job of speaker is one where you can bot show the slightest bias to anything at all.

He has had many allegations of bullying against him. No smoke without fire?

No bias shown? Haven't you kept up with the news?

I listen to PMQs...so I see &/or hear for myself.

So again...I have not seen or heard anything I would consider to show bias.

And again...allegations. Innocent until proven guilty. He may get close to the line in reality, but nothing as yet proven.

You’re better seeing it as an X y axis rather than a horseshoe.

Corbyn is of the authoritarian left, that of SJW Twitter warriors and dictatorships. Similarly Trump of the authoritarian right, big military, lots of rules to enforce conservative values, protectionism.

On the other side you have what we’d call center left and center right, because we are essentially a liberal country.

It is advice that should be taken. Advice from someone who knows the rules better.

Bullying claims have followed him for years. Do you really think he is innocent?

Advice should be considered carefully. Not taken as a given nor dismissed out of hand.

I think he is innocent because he hasn't been found guilty. Each claim I have to assume has been investigated fully & properly.

He’s holding an incompetent government’s feet to the fire and not letting them get away with anything during what is probably the most significant period for the country in decades.

I’m just glad that someone is holding them to account.

So what if his wife has an anti Brexit sticker? What’s the problem? Should she not be allowed to voice her opinion?

Are you now just passing judgement over someone based upon articles in a newspaper? What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

So in other words he is innocent whatever.

The allegations against him got so bad that he agreed he wouldn't go for another term as speaker. So the charges were dropped. Now he has gone back on his word. Not a problem though.

Police to examine misconduct allegation against John Bercow

He says that it is his wife's car but it isn't.

And he is not supposed to be biased on any subject in any way. That is the point.

MP's took a vote on if he should be questioned on bullying but voted no. Does that make him innocent?

Do you want some YouTube videos of him losing it?

Would you be as happy if a not supposed to be biased in any way was biased on the side of leave? Of course not........

You are an expert of twisting things.

Yesterday you said I keep changing my mind on leave or remain. I replied that I see good in both. Today we are back to you coming out with this crap.

I know you would love me to keep quiet about what is wrong with the Tories, the EU and also leave alone those who have done wrong if something to do with the EU or someone you like because of what they do or say about the situation. No chance. Everyone from all sides of this debacle is a target. And your petty remarks won't stop me. I won't come out with half a story like yourself.

You are making things up as usual. I never said anything of the sort. I was referring to people who have said that they have blocked me. You have, then you peeked in a couple of times, then you blocked me again and then unblocked me and then blocked Tony. It’s called flouncing back and forth.

I am all for attacking most of the Tories as they are the real culprits in this situation. Caused the problems, blamed the EU for everything, then seeing that UKIP has latched on to their pitch, called a referendum to get rid of UKIP and we ended up heading for a crash. David Lammy says basically that in parliament and some leavers call him a traitor and even a moron. That’s how bad the UK has become.

As far as I can see he is holding the government to account and has the country’s best interests at heart in trying to avoid a new deal.

We have ministers in charge who claimed the EU would bend over for the UK in negotiations as we buy cheese, wine, cars etc etc...a line I seem to remember you repeating. At least he is trying to hold them to account to a certain extent and holding their feet to the fire.

A video of him losing it? I’m sure you’ve lost it at some point in your life, as have I. I’m more concerned by the Mail’s front page on the matter, personally, especially after their front page attacks on judges, seemingly trying to claim that being a gay ex fencer was somehow a stain on someone’s character.

How am I an idiot?

If you want a second referendum it is because you are a remainer who didn't like the result and want to overturn it.

No attempt at denying that or pointing at opinion polls will change anyone else's mind that it's not just a cover up for people that cannot accept the result.

In my eyes those people are morons and massive hypocrits. If the result had gone the other way and there was a call for another referendum from leave, they would be the first ones batting it away. That's the only thing here that is 'unbelievable'.

So we have a bully holding the government to account, a hedge fund boss holding the government to account, morons holding the government to account, a communist/socialist/anti Semite/IRA sympathiser holding the government to account and many many more people you probably wouldn’t let babysit your children holding the government to account. When this is the list of rag tag low life’s holding the government to account it really says a lot about just how bad this government is. Not sure what it says about those who defend the government but it can’t be good. The levels of lowness we’re having to lower ourselves in the name of Brexit is jaw dropping.

It's quite clear why I labelled you an idiot for labelling people morons just because they disagree with you even when they've presented well thought out arguments.

Nothing to do with the point that was being debated which I agree with you on.

It doesn’t necessarily that you are a remainer. What Lammy said is that leave was a con and that, far from making things better for people, it would make things worse. Whether you like the result or not, most experts and many millions of people think that he is right on this. You are not a hypocrite because you think leave isn’t going as promised. There is an argument that the people who want to leave whatever happens are idiots.

Why defend him? Oh yes he is a remainer.

His position is to be neutral. Full stop.

He enjoys bullying women. And yes the bullying is at work. How long would you last in your job if you bullied women? Are you trying to say it is OK what he has done? Would you be defending him if he was breaking the rules to help leave?

Sometimes you need to leave your extreme bias behind because what they have done is wrong. But not surprised by any of those who agree that a woman bullying tosser is doing a good thing.
