You need to get a dictionary. Or learn how to use Google. Because you always manage not to understand a word or miss out a word in sentences which changes the meaning altogether. Like 'mainly'. 'Mainly' doesn't mean everyone. But I suppose it is a good way of twisting the truth and making out someone has said what they haven't. And you are good at that.

And you’ve ignored the bit where you’ve once again made up claims about my opinions and ignored the posts I’ve made about more large parts of the country being ignored

And as usual you ignore links that show what you say to be incorrect yet you still try to defend the undefendable.

Any chance of making a comment on these links this time?

Come on then. Explain what you are saying instead of making coded allegations. I have said nothing about what you are thinking. It was me saying the North of England is getting ignored. I live in the North of England. I should know.

Coded allegations? Wtf are you on about now? I have also said that both the north and the midlands get ignored, it’s a different world compared to London and the Home Counties. Even in Brighton though there is mass inequality, especially with Londoners moving down and buying up housing and wages in a lot of sectors being average, despite the increased cost of living compared to the rest of the country.

Considering that I’d want to completely overall the system, do you really think I think that should continue or be clamped down upon?

Wouldn’t it be an infringement of a persons rights and choice if the private education system was closed down?

Indeed would this not be a breach of Eu law regarding education?

I’d imagine that Finland will be in line for punishment then.

Or not.

Finland hasn’t changed its policy though has it? That’s the point to consider.

Thank you for asking, I'm fine but avoiding interactions on social media more nowadays. Hope you too are well.

My point is that banning public schools has a negative effect on comprehensive education. Adding massive money for teacher salaries would improve comprehensive education but not quickly - that ship sailed a long time ago.

The only rationale for banning public schools would be spite.

I have been saying it all along. Especially when the subject goes onto why I think people voted leave. But suddenly you make out you have been saying it and I haven't.

And I am supposed to try and have a debate with you

You said more money would mean a better education at state schools. You agreed with Shmeee that more money has gone into education so it must be better. And others also agreed with him.

Yet nobody has said a word about where billions has gone. And many more billions has got to go in the same place. Yet those cheering what Bliar did for education and the extra money that has had to go in have not said a word about where it got wasted. And will be wasted for many years to come.

Spite is a good enough reason to some. Yet they don't want a word said against those who put us in this situation.

The whole thing is a joke.

When Shmeee said about the extra money went into education when Bliar was PM. 4 of you agreed with him. Yet not one of you made any comment when I showed that the money went to private companies and continues to go to private companies. And because of the rules the tax payer continues to get ripped off.

It’s nothing to do with spite whatsoever. In my experience the vast majority of people I know who went to private schools ended up flopping at ALevel and going to universities like Luton and Bedfordshire.

Yet private schools constantly outperform state schools. To me a lot of it is to do with the pupils trying harder

Hahaha the pupils try harder? I presume that this is a wind up?

Obviously it has nothing to do with the demographics of the children and the fact that there is a selection procedure - hahahaha.

I got 4 As at A-Level and ended up going to a decent university where the majority were from comprehensives. In the job I just left 5 of them went to private school and went to the likes of Luton and Bedford universities.

So my daughter went to a failing school. A few friends and herself put a lot of effort in. The worse any of them did was two A**. Are you saying effort doesn't count?

So those whose parents pay to put them through education don't try their best to see their children work hard? They don't try to make sure they put the effort in?

OK you know more than anyone else on the subject. You know that private schools don't do better than state schools. You always know better.

Yes some state schools are doing better. But if there are private schools that are poor they wouldn't get the students. They also have multiples to spend per child.

You certainly seem to have something against those who can afford what you can't.

Why dies every statistic avaulabke show that’s just not the case?

Also if it is why would you want private school children dragging down the results of the marvellous comprehensive education system?

I’m not the self-appointed expert on everything like yourself.

Where am I saying that effort doesn’t count? I left school at 16 with no qualifications and worked while going back to college full time and at university - I wouldn’t have been able to do that without effort.

For someone who claims to care about the poor, it seems that you couldn’t care less about the inequality in the country.

The notion that private schools mainly due better due to the effort put in is absurd. It’s going to have a lot to do with the demographics and selection procedures of the schools.

And nothing to do with a higher grade of teacher or anything else.

Then you call other people a self-appointed expert. Yet you seem to know what nobody else does.

I haven’t said that they are a waste of time and I haven’t made out they shouldn’t be allowed.

I was proposing changes to the education system, which IMO would improve overall standards in the long-run. This would assist in improving standards and plugging skills gaps long term - id open up more vocational colleges for those not wanting to do academic education.

It would make the country less reliant on immigration in the long term.
