So as not to confuse people like yourself. You mixed up Roman Empire with Holy Roman Empire. By calling it People‘s Vote you won’t get it confused with the 2016 referendum. Completely different words.

It is the political latest term. They never gave a shit about us before. And they won't give a shit about us after Brexit.

We had a people's vote already. Otherwise known as a referendum that they thought they knew the result of. Anyone calling for another referendum would be saying goodbye to their political futures. But people's vote sounds like they care about us. Can't think of a term for 'we didn't like the first result. Let's try again'

We wouldn't be in this mess if they were competent.

Good reply.

Considering you live in the UK you only ever seem interested in bad news for the UK and good news for the EU. That is why there is zero chance of having a debate with you.

It is a good reply. I answered your questions for a start which is more than you have, that’s how you have a debate. I’m interested in all news for the U.K. it’s hardly my fault that it’s all pretty much bad news. Ironically the few good news stories from brexit there has been have all been linked by me also. Ironically you’ve linked zero despite several requests from several posters. Interested in good news for the EU? You’ve lost me there. Maybe you could post some evidence, can’t ever remember linking any article about how great everything is in the EU. I would think you’ll do well to find any but knock yourself out and if you do find any I’ll be glad to apologise.

So to recap basically I’ve answered your questions, you’ve answered none in reply and cast a load of unfounded accusations instead. That’s why there’s zero chance of having a debate with you

we're being lead out by a man who admitted he didn't realise what an important trade route the Dover to Calais crossing is.
If you're not crying you're not taking any notice of what is actually going on whether you voted remain or not.

You answered my questions with false information. I constantly showed proof. You showed none. Because it didn't exist.

Yes that is your method of having a so called debate. I call it someone trying to cause an argument to hide the truth.

Everything great in the EU? Even Barnier has just admitted that there are serious problems. The same problems I have been mentioning that you say don't exist. Or the same problems some try to play down.

There is now ‘a Nigel Farage’ in every EU country, Michel Barnier says

‘There is now a Farage in every country,’ Barnier says

What was false about my reply? What proof have you shown? What didn’t exist?

Answer those three very simple questions and I’ll see if I can help you out.

You said the people left Ireland at the same rate they left Romania. You kept up with it for a whole day without finding the evidence you said you had. And still waiting for it.

No I never. I agreed with someone else when they stated quite correctly that there was mass economical migration from Ireland. You put two and two together and came up with potato famine which was 100 years out. Sickboy was clearly talking about Ireland under De Valera when people left in their thousands in pursuit of economic improvement. If you seriously need help to confirm that I’m amazed that you can remember your own name. It is quite literally the centre of Irish history of the last century. If I gave you a fact you would only dismiss it that’s why a gave you a name and told you to go and educate yourself. If you can’t be arsed to do that it’s hardly my fault. I’ll help you out again. The 1940’s and 50’s was the peak of this emigration. Try looking at that period.

Who is happy with what we have achieved so far? About time we were told what Brexit means and which version of Brexit we will be taking. Then ask the people if they are ok with that. We have yet to have an informed vote on the subject.

It’s also easy to have a binary uninformed and advisory referendum and then go round shouting „you lost, get over it“ whilst your economy starts to slow down.

Exactly. He did look like he was beginning to cotton on. He got the job through default. Davis got out before the shit hits the fan. Raab will carry the can when it all goes pearshape, as it has to. The system we have for cross channel trade is the best we will ever get. As an island we need frictionless trade as trade is already slowed by the crossing and is more expensive than trading over a land border. To add more bureaucracy and possible tariffs will erode our competitiveness. I think Raab has seen this and is preparing us for a shift in favour of the customs union.

to be fair to Raab, even taking into account his recent gaff, he's still an improvement on Davis who thought that when we leave the EU we'd be able to do individual trade deals with the remaining 27 EU countries. If it wasn't so tragic it would be hilarious.

This just another reason why I can't see it ending up as bad as those in the EU have continually made out. I still think it is their best chance of making us stay in.

Why would they want to cause pain throughout the EU just to prove a point?

Their rules and regulations are there to be bent and broke. They do it themselves when it suits.

Mostly coming IN.

It's also a great place for empty trucks to arrive with a fake manifest, drive straight back onto the ferry then claim a VAT refund for goods which never existed in the first place.

At times it was higher. It depends on what periods you look at. It happened over decades and as I’ve already told you the peak was in the 40’s and early 50’s. Like I said, go and educate yourself, you sorely need it. It was actually said that there was a comparison, which there is. Even Grendull hit the nail on the head even though he didn’t realise it. Who’s our? No one else is arguing for you.

You don’t charge or pay VAT on goods traveling from within the EU so I’m not sure how you work that one out. A manifesto also isn’t an invoice. There are no values on a manifesto.

Missing trader fraud - Wikipedia

Also who mentioned anything about a 'manifesto'?

A manifest or customs manifest or "cargo document" is a document listing the cargo, passengers, and crew of a ship, aircraft, or vehicle, for the use of customs and other officials.

Auto correct.

Your link tells you exactly what I’ve just told you. The fraud is happening within transactions in the U.K. it’s not happening in the transaction between France and the U.K. where it confirms no VAT is charged and it’s not happening in the transaction between the U.K. and Germany again where no VAT is charged. The VAT fraud is happening between two transactions in the U.K. because that’s the only point where an invoice with VAT can be raised.

I know what a manifest is and it isn’t an invoice. It’s an invoice that you use to charge VAT.

The fraud is only possible because the European Union Value Added Tax ("EU VAT") allows merchants to charge VAT on the sale of goods sold to buyers in another member state:

Missing trader fraud - Wikipedia

Figures released in September 2006 by Eurocanet, a project sponsored by the European Commission, appear to show that the United Kingdom is the main victim of this fraud – the UK lost an estimated €12.6 billion during 2005–06 – followed by Spain and Italy, which each lost over €2 billion. From 1 June 2007 the UK introduced changes to the way that VAT is charged on mobile phones and computer chips to help combat fraud. UK plans to introduce changes to the way VAT is charged on a wide range of goods from December 2006 were aborted because of failure to reach an agreement with other EU member states.

Of course they want the best they can get out of us. That is what being a member of the EU is all about.

I am very suspicious of this deal they say they have nearly made. And I can see it having problems going through because of both those who want to remain and those who want to leave. I think they will make a fuck up out of a fuck up.
