You haven’t read them have you. This reply confirms that.

You haven’t gone and looked for the details of the TPP for yourself have you like I suggested. Again this reply confirms that.

You seem to have missed it but Japan doesn’t want a bespoke deal with the U.K. they want us to join the ailing TPP. That might not even happen.

So how do you know that?

And what is TPP all about? And that is facts not your normal guestimations that you treat as facts.

Confirmation of what?

Are you saying that you have seen the details?

Or is it something like looking at a pro Brexit or anti Brexit version and swallowing it all?

I haven't seen anything official.

Like I’ve told you. Go and do some reading on the subject. I’ve tried to help you out by providing half a dozen or so links over the last couple of days but you’re clearly ignoring them because you’re as clueless as ever. I’ve told you that the links that I’ve provided are the tip of the iceberg and if you can be bothered go and look for yourself but again you ignore this very good advice at the expense of your continued cluelessness on the subject.

Go and look for yourself. I’ve tried to help you out already but you’re beyond help.

But once again...negative slant on EVERYTHING!
Do you not just think it possible that even if if means a 12month minimum wait that we get the best deal for Britain (might easily be a simple replication of the terms the EU have as our business might form a significant part of what Japan wants access to!)
THEN we dictate what we trade rather than the EU dictating it to us!

I have told you about that:

The aims of TPP:
  • lower tariffs on trade between partners;
SM and CU better
  • uniform intellectual property protections;
Lots of criticism about that
  • standardized labor and environmental laws;
Like the EU. Probably lower standards than the EU though.
  • built-in investor-state dispute settlement mechanisms.
Like the ECJ. Tories won’t like that.

Why will we?

You always make out that the EU has nothing to worry about. But it isn't true. They are not prepared for a no deal. So either they k iw there will be a deal so haven't bothered preparing for a no deal situation or they are totally incompetent.

Take your pick.

You will prefer to make excuses for them though.

It’s minimum standard not a case of Vietnam having to raise its standards to Japan’s. The more likely scenario there of course will inevitably be a lowering of standards towards the direction of Vietnam.

I’m guessing that you knew that anyway. Just trying to be a smart arse.

No. You have put your opinion forward. And you have put up links you have found that are similar to your opinion. But they are all opinions.

How about anything official?

All I can find official is it is a free trade agreement.

Japan is already a suppressive working environment with long hours and stagnant wages. Even then it probably won’t effect Japan as much as other members. Vietnam isn’t the only poor country in the TPP. Also your alternative view is that you think that a one party state developing country like Vietnam is going to be forced to do anything. A minimum standard of working and environmental standards will be set and the bar will be set very low. It will have to be.

Again I think you already understand this and you’re just trying to be a smart arse. Still nice of you to give astute a token hand.

Ah so TPP won't work because of a couple of poor countries are in the talks.

It is a good job there are no countries like Romania and Greece in the EU then.

It’s not an opinion. In Japan it’s well acknowledged and they even have a word for an unfortunate event caused by overworking. Go and have a look and see if you can educate yourself on Japanese working environment and side effects. You won’t have to look hard. I’ll give you a clue of where to start looking, that’s what a nice guy I am. One well known YouTuber recently found himself in the news for all the wrong reasons for visiting a forest where this unfortunate side effect happens on a regular basis, filmed what he found and then posted it on line. Start there.

You're getting confused between a trade agreement and the internal workings of the country making the agreement.

They are prepared for no deal. What makes you think they aren’t? There will still be chaos at the beginning as businesses are not prepared, but the EU countries are taking on border staff. Ireland over a thousand as an example.

So why is it good that the EU has poor countries but not anyone else?

This shows how poor your efforts are.
