General Secretary x 3. Juncker’s Job and Tusk‘s job will not go to Germans. The EU does not work on a country basis, apart from the Council and the nomination of Commissioners where all countries are represented. Juncker was nominated for election by a political grouping, not a country. It is unlikely they will choose a German as successor and it is speculation that Barnier will take over. There are other parliamentary committees on which we were represented.

General secretary x3 out of 4 positions.

And as I said the job is lined up for Barnier. Another nodding dog for Selmayr.

It won't once we are out of the EU. And while the EU remains crooked I want us out.

It wasn't that long ago that you flipped from leave to remain and now back to leave.

Not true. They cannot alter the past, but the meeting on 25 is to see how to stop things like the Selmayr sham happening again.

Can't alter the past?

Rules and regulations were broke. He shouldn't have got the position. So why should he keep the position?

Is there another rule or regulation that says that if a rule or regulation is broke nothing can be done about it?

Now that we are told that polling is accurate, it seems that most Labour members don't want out asap and a massive majority would now back remain and a 2nd referendum.
So the 86% was accurate?

Would you like to explain?

How about if we get UKIP to do a poll. If they get over 86% should we leave?

Wrong again.

It was me who brought up the subject of Selmayr. I said all rules and regulations had been broke to put him in place. You and Mart said they were not. When the point was proven Mart went along the line that it was legal. Of course it was because there wasn't a law against it happening.

Can you name all the rules and regulations? I bet you can’t. I haven’t given an opinion on it other than I couldn’t give a flying one as ultimately it changes nothing so no I haven’t said it doesn’t break rules or regulations whether that be none or all of them, whatever all of them are. Think Mart is the one who’s pointed out to you that the ombudsman is looking at it so not sure how you can claim he has said that no rules or regulations have been broken either. If there’s no law against it happening why are you so bothered about it in the first place.

You've gone from claiming polls weren't a good indication to flipping to the complete opposite if it suits your own anti-EU agenda.

How are we going to leave our own political system? You do know that’s equally as “crooked” as the EU don’t you?

Makes me laugh the way the likes of martclegg claim their reason for opposing Brexit is to protect the UK economy, whilst at the same time supporting a Corbyn/McDonnell far left economy wrecking government, likely propped up by SNP.

Dominic Raab this morning correctly referred to the fact that the EU has a long history of ignoring democratic votes and successfully plotting to overturn them. That’s EU democracy. He went on to point out the British democracy doesn’t work that way. Very refreshing to hear the EU zealots called out.

It’s clear which version of democracy you subscribe to.

How is the EU plotting anything? They are united in preserving their Single Market and CU.

The Conservative government has not come up with a plan to leave the EU in 2 years. They are disunited and squabbling with each other.

The Conservative form of democracy is chaos. It has arrived at an impass 2 years after promising a referendum and it arriving at a small % majority in favour of leaving.

They cannot arrive at a conclusion as to what Brexit is. Apart from Brexit.

I subscribe to a democracy with an educated electorate that can make an informed decision. Looks like there isn’t one in Britain. They were lied to by the Brexit culprits. I sincerely hope that the electorate turns against these liars.

It is so bad, that if the choice is between no deal Brexit or Corbyn, the answer is clearly Corbyn.

There is no law to be broken. Why would they make laws against themselves?

But there were rules and regulations to be broke. They did a good job of that.

So replying to someone's post is putting words into their mouth?

No. It is showing how absurd the post was and usually means they have contradicted previous posts.

You've not answered my question about the 80 odd percent and have just claimed a couple of things I've never said or believed.

Just of the top of my head since the last election you have the government striking a deal with a climate change denying, links to terrorism, cash for ash scandal, anti peace process mob called the DUP who don’t even have the ability to govern their own part of the U.K. because of the already mentioned cash for ash scandal. Then you have the means to this deal, by finding the magic money tree they just spent weeks telling us it doesn’t exist. Right up until the point they needed to save their own political necks. Then you have the government trying to bypass the democracy of our sovereign parliament save for a very embarrassing JR and climb down. Then you have the pairing scandal, another attempt to thwart democracy. Just very recently there was the deliberate act of ensuring that a government white paper wasn’t distributed to the opposition parties in a deliberate attempt to thwart commons debate over a government brexit announcement. I could go on and on and all examples would be equally as bad to anything that’s happened in the EU and you know it. You’re just trying to be a smart arse.

Exactly. He will still hold the position that he shouldn't have got.

My faith would be restored in those who run the EU if they got rid of Selmayr and those who put him in the position. But I can't see it happening.

He has already pushed it aside. Didn't you read the part about the emails sent?

Yes. That is reading things into it. Hasn’t happened yet. The commissioner is looking into the effects on 25 September. He may get roped in.
