Juncker will be gone soon. He is not a king. Selmayr is head of the civil service which carry out the rules passed by the parliament and council. Are you suggesting he is all powerful? Why isn’t May dealing with him instead of 27 heads of state? The EU will go in the direction set by the council and parliament. The commission will prepare the legislation and present it to the parliament which can amend reject or accept it. How does Selmayr fit into your life?

1, You have seriously undervalued the role Selmayr has.

2, The rules you mention were broke to put him in place. So why would anyone have the slightest faith in them?

The YouGov that you said about said the opposite as you said. So you came out with one that nobody had heard of. Well done.

A one sided view and one sided opinion that isn't in line with what people in the UK say. But how is someone who has lived in Germany most of their life supposed to know the reality of the situation?

No. I said one thing. You quoted another thing. It didn’t say the opposite. It said of those that answered more said that the decision was wrong. You said a small amount wanted a second referendum. Two separate things. Some polls quoted by the Independent suggest a slight majority for a second referendum or an election.

How many wanted Brexit to run it's course?

How about bringing up the proof? The majority of any section wanted a hard Brexit over anything else.

Newspapers, social media, TV, political Twitter accounts, polls and my family. You seem to think that you represent a majority. Maybe within your circle of friends, but there is half the country out there that doesn’t think like you.

You are so much out of touch living in Germany.

Look at posts on here. Many of us that voted remain want the voice of the people listened to. Especially since we found out how bent the EU is and what underhand tricks they have used to try and not let the UK public get what they voted for.

How many think the negotiations are a mess? Over 70%. The government apart from 60 or so Mogg MPs don’t want a hard Brexit. Industry doesn’t want a hard Brexit. The opposition won’t accept a hard Brexit. You are under the influence of the Moggs.

I don’t get that impression at all. The leavers are still leave and the remainers remain. You are an exception not the rule. Can you tell me what underhand tricks the EU has used?

39% want a hard Brexit according to YouGov. 25% soft or good relationship and 23% to remain. Soft and remain are more than hard.

YouGov:

„There is an overwhelming perception that the Brexit negotiations are not turning out well. In our most recent tracker 73% of the public thought the negations were going badly, including majorities of both Remainers and Leavers, and both Tory and Labour supporters. Only 22% of people now think that it is likely that a deal will be struck in time for Britain to leave the EU in March 2019.“

What is the use of replying to you when you are not truthful with your replies and twist everything most people say.

OK let's take you as being correct and honest for once.

I those who voted leave still want leave and those who voted remain still want remain there is still nearly 2m more people who want to leave than remain.

I just looked at the latest YouGov polls and the opinions given show that you are out of touch although you live in England. You still haven’t answered my question about Selmayr’s effect on your life, or what underhand tricks the EU have used to screw up our negotiations.

Where did the bit go about the majority saying that they want Brexit to continue?

He runs the show.

But once we are out of the EU he can screw all the rest of the EU up for what I care. Just like you don't care how much he screws us up.

As from January, if everyone stays the same, remain will be ahead. This is because of demographics. More leave voters are dying off and more new young voters are for remain. Leave are literally not only dragging NI and Scotland out against their wishes, but also the majority of British voters.

I didn’t see it. I only saw that you were wrong about the majority wanting a hard Brexit. They don’t. Only the leave loons do. As soft and stay in are the majority, many leave voters don’t want a hard Brexit either.

Soft Brexit is leaving. 39+25=64%

Remain is 23%. Yes less than a quarter. Yet you make out that the majority want to remain.

I said the biggest group was happy to continue as it is. Which could be a hard Brexit.

Leave loons? So in your own numbers only 23% want to remain. So 77% are leave loons?

How powerful is Selmayr? Be truthful.

Because if you are as untruthful as usual I will prove you wrong yet again and continue to link your reply and proof you are lying for as long as this thread continues.

No. I make out that the majority don’t want a hard Brexit. If a referendum was held today the majority would vote remain. That question was „if a referendum was held“. Which means it includes the people who say soft Brexit and leavers.

You said the majority want a hard Brexit. They don’t. The leave loons are the 39% who want to wreck the country. The responsible leavers are included in soft Brexit with some remainers.
