Struggle with what?

Anyone with a couple of brain cells that work know that there isn't a single reason. It was several reasons. But strikes and poor quality were big reasons. Just like cheaper labour in the EU was another reason.

So what is the single reason you blame for it?

I never said there was a single reason. I agree it was a multitude of factors and you have hit on some but then even a broken clock is right twice a day. You’ve missed the biggies though. Poor management, government interference and nationalisation. It goes back to the early 50’s and the arrival of BMC and the merger of Morris and Austin. Then you start to get the government involved “encouraging” mergers between various car companies and as the old adage goes it only takes one bad apple. Then along comes nationalisation to cap it off. Mergers should never have been encouraged, natural selection should have been allowed to happen as the good marques were tarnished by the bad ones and nationalisation was a complete disaster. Governments should never be allowed to nationalise the manufacturing industry in my opinion. It’s never worked and the ones who do survive ended up back in private ownership anyway.

So if you now agree that there were several reasons why did you ask me for the reason and not reasons?

And why bring the situation up? Waiting for your point to be made still.

You gave two completely different reasons without acknowledging the connection. The way you originally put it it was down to a singular and you changed that singular.

I’ve already told you why I brought it up. In fact I’ve also already pointed that out to you this evening and when you asked me that for the second time you asked it in reply to me telling you why I brought it up. You’re like a child who keeps asking why even when there is only one answer and you’ve just said it. As my post from 3:01pm today where I tell you why, then see your hilarious post at 4:25pm where in reply to my post you ask the same question again to the answer I just gave you and now you’re asking it again. The answer is still the same answer, I haven’t changed my mind. Read my post from 3:01pm today, or not. You can always ask again in another hour if you want to keep the joke going. If it rolls over to another page I’ll even give you a link to the previous page if you like, given you’ve already admitted that you don’t know how to go to the previous page.

Edit. Just noticed that it’s rolled over to another page. Here’s your link The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Just like you say the majority now want to stay in the EU. They don't. And many who voted remain have had enough of the tedious arguing being made by people like yourself.

The BBC is pro EU. Just about every article they produce is about how bad it will become. They point out everything that could go wrong. Yet look at the comments made after yet another article stating why we should stay in the EU. Even remainers have had enough of the remoaners.

The majority would now vote remain. According to polls. The constant releases of negative facts are from the government‘s own papers as to what would happen in a no deal situation. The media is reporting them. That is their job. Just saying everyone wants to leave because I do is your job.

I wouldn't bank on it being harder to enter Britain post Brexit. The only thing that changes is a legal right to remain here, nothing stops people entering. Unlikely there will be a visa requirement for EU citizens and enforcing removal of people who overstay would cost a fortune which austere Tories aren't willing to pay.

Why do they need to import Mercedes cars? Is every Euro country bust? Why does no one want to leave, but more want to join? How come the Euro is not weaker against the dollar to make Germany more competitive? It‘s the same as 2002. How come Germany was a massive exporter before the euro when in the 80‘s you could get 3,4 Dollar for the dm? Why didn’t Britain devalue the pound and become the new Germany years ago?

They didn’t do that. They lent 80m as part of a 4 billion project in the region to assist a potential member. Ford closed a factory in the U.K. as Part of a gradual reduction in the U.K.. The EIB lent the money at a cheaper rate than they would have got elsewhere. The loan has to be repaid by 2020.

Farage claimed that was the sole reason Ford closed Southampton and that the 80m was the sole reason for a joint Ford/ Turkish company building a factory.

The EIB lent companies investing in the U.K. billions more than the 80m. No one is claiming the inward investors only did so because of the EIB and therefore created thousands of new jobs in the U.K.. Can’t think why.

Which I don't and never have disagreed with. As I have said previously they want our holiday spend. We want theirs. A lot of what is said is scaremongering still. And it will continue until the deal is finalised.

Google latest Brexit polls. The government is releasing papers to warn the public of possible scenarios in a no deal situation. If they don’t do that they will be criticised for not advising the public. Just because you don’t like what Brexit actually is, doesn’t mean that scenarios won’t take place in a no deal situation. I am sick of seeing, hearing and reading about the negative effects of Brexit. I knew there were many and have said all along we should call the whole thing off and get back to our improving economy and building a fairer society in the EU ( getting rid of the current Tory party would be a step in the right direction) instead of following a right wing coup which will benefit Eton old boys and hedge fund owner/ managers. You crazily think that the BBC will be better off in the EU and has a vested interest to remain. Look at the people leading leave. Do you see anyone sticking up for workers rights? Or actually really trying to save the NHS I apart from Billy Bullshit doubling down on his lies ). Don’t you think the want to do away with worker‘s rights and stop people following up on tax investigations?

The richest Europeans are already in ( except Brexit Britain, which because of our financial services dependency, is a bit different). But you know this.

It is you who claims the Germans devalue currency, not me. They also rule Europe and therefore could devalue the Euro to their advantage any time, following your logic. This would also help places like Greece according to you. So why haven’t they done that if they are so evil and calculating?

What do you call conclusive? 52:48? I think they are at least that. I said „majority“, not conclusive majority, such as over 60% which would be conclusive. Who would be mad enough to change direction on, say, a 52:48 vote.?

Error no. The poorer countries in the Euro devalue the currency to the advantage of Germany. Germany makes the Euro stronger for the poorer countries.
