I asked a question dumbo head. A question that went unanswered and still has. You’re pointing your reply at the wrong poster.

So what question was that mastermind?

As I keep saying you make comments and not much more.

I don't go on about the good for one side and the bad for the other like you. Who said about good?

It explains everything about something you make out you know about but know nothing.

And as usual you need something explaining that has been explained to you several times. But you either don't understand or don't want to admit you understand. It is the exact reason why Germany does so well out of being in a currency that is seriously undervalued for how they are doing.

Again I say in perspective. They got 12,5% on the day. They would get 14% today according to polls. They are strong in some places not others. Many of their voters are not „dangerous“, but they associate with people who are dangerous such as Thürgida, Pegida etc.. The danger is that AfD breaks Tabus which allow the really nasty ones to grow.

Nothing to do with in perspective. If the AfD is insignificant then all right wingers are insignificant. Or is Germany the only country with pockets of right wingers?

So basically you’re saying that there was no good but you’re bitching about me pointing out the negative?

By the way. If you had have read the post you originally replied to there was a positive in it but you missed it in your rush to pretend I only ever talk about the negative.

That Germany is trying to take over the EU as Germany tried to control Europe as a Nazi power or imperial power. Selmayr is one man making his own way to the top. He was pushed into his post by someone from Luxemburg.

Are you saying that Germany doesn't have a disproportionate amount running the EU to everyone else? And are you still trying to say that rules and regulations were not broke to get another German the top job in the EU?

Germany is a nett exporter which is why a weak currency is a nett benefit to them. We on the other hand are nett importers which is why a weak currency isn’t a nett benefit to us. You need a few things explaining to you several times yourself.

No. One or two pages will be enough. You were party to the conversation anyway so either you’ve forgotten what was being discussed or more likely you didn’t read and digest or have chosen to ignore. I had to tell you something three times the other day and you were still saying I didn’t say it. I doing it again today, I’m not your Dad.

This shows how much of a clue you don't have.

If our currency is weak our products become cheaper to sell. So we sell more. And the stuff made elsewhere becomes more expensive so our own products become cheaper than those exported.

But you know this. I have tried explaining it to you enough times.

You don't have a clue. So read it and find out why being in the EU never pulled us out of recession. And find out why it is good to have your own currency and your own bank instead of a shared currency and shared bank.

Shows how clueless you are. We don’t have the heavy industry we used to. Coventry probably being the best example of that in the UK. We aren’t an industrial powerhouse anymore and that doesn’t look likely to change anytime soon brexit or no brexit. We can’t compete with Industry from places like India and China for more reasons than the value of the pound unless you’re talking about high quality, niech manufacturing. We’re net importers and that ain’t changing. The pound could fall of the face of the earth and we still won’t compete as a country with India and China.

You don’t know what I’m talking about full stop. You confirmed that the second you asked what’s my point to a link I posted. If you had to ask you didn’t understand which is why I kindly advised you to sit this one out. Grendull does, that’s why he won’t enter into a meaningful conversation about it.

They are not in government and no one will work with them. They have significance by being there. It puts pressure on the other parties. So they are not totally insignificant. I don’t believe I said they were. I said they are where I am, but in other areas they are stronger. I don’t know if other countries have large regional differences, but Germany does. It was divided for over 40 years.

It was a global crash and we were prone to a big hit in part because of first Maggie then Blair relaxing laws that essentially was the equivalent of giving the kids the keys to the sweet shop. It was another failure of domestic policy. If we’d never have joined the EU and deregulised as much as we did under Maggie and Blair not being in the EU wouldn’t have pulled us out of recession either. How many German banks were bailed out in the same period?

Except our manufacturing industry is not as important as our financial services industry. We lost our manufacturing base under Thatcher. Plus the rest of the world is more developed than it was 40 odd years ago. London is a Major Financial centre which brings in billions. That’s what we should be preserving. Our remaining manufacturing industries will be hammered by the extra bureaucracy and costs of not being in the single market, should they want to export to Europe. Why are we doing this to ourselves?

A free trade agreement with the biggest trading block in the world which has allowed us to develop our service industry which has replaced our lost manufacturing industry as the backbone of our economy.

Coal, shipbuilding, steel in comparison to what it was.

Single market, customs union, coordinated inter European transport systems, euratom, europol, medical/ Pharma testing and approval, military cooperation, foreign policy cooperation, recognition of qualifications, guaranteed rights, no roaming charges, freedom of capital, freedom of movement, clean water, beaches and unified environmental standards, dual nationality and voting rights in municipal elections if you live in another EU country, Erasmus program and so on and so on.

Now... tell us the advantages of project faith, project hope and the forthcoming project charity ( to bail out the people who lose their jobs through Brexit)?

You’re more than welcome to join in. Just don’t make out I’ve said things I haven’t, don’t ignore the things I have said in the manor you did yesterday by telling me I haven’t said something and if you’re going to join in at least try and make the effort to keep up with how the conversation is/has developed.

Yes... I forgot the FTA on my list of benefits. And the upkeeping of the GFA which is not in question if we remain in the EU.

So many things on the list, and not one thing on the list of leave benefits that I asked Astute for. Although Rees Mogg says we will be booming in 50 years time. That’s one for Astute‘s list... booming in 50 years time.

We build most of what we used to. But now with foreign owners in many of them. Just like JLR have foreign owners.
