Yes, and we know how far people will go to try and find reasons for Brexit. We are now at grandfathers of EU officials. The truth is massive lies were told in order to frighten people ( yes both sides - makes it worse not better ) and/ or to appeal to basic instinct and emotions. I hope it all comes out and the spivs are held to account.

One of the most considered, more neutral pieces on the subject

Europe must wake up to the looming nightmare of a no-deal Brexit | Henry Newman

Ps Mart - using that pathetic (offensive) EU phrase ‘cake and eat it’ line just makes you sound like a typical ‘tow the line’ Eurocrat. Whilst accepting all of our faults in these negoations I genuinely believe we have attempted to negoatite in a honest, fair and reasonable manner. The EUs response is unfortunately as most expected it would be and the reason why most probably voted for brexit in the first place ie It’s our way or no way.....even if vast numbers of the public across Europe disagree and would like changes that would ultimately make the union stronger and better supported..

Cake and eat it is Boris Johnson‘s phase. Not the EU and not mine. I just quoted it because the EU has made it clear that we are not getting it. Yes, it is pathetic and Johnson only racked off the EU by coining it and saying that is what we want. We are leaving the EU club. That doesn’t alter their rules. The rules stay the same as before and we have to have a deal complying with the rules. That is the expected answer and only answer there is going to be. Why should the 27 change the rules for an ex member? It is strange that you even expected that.

How does fuck off you are lying sound?

Yes his grandfather was a war criminal. He got tried and found guilty. But then he got pardoned. The reason for this is he had a job they wanted to do. So in other words he had friends in high places that didn't have a problem with getting war criminals off the hook. So yes you are right about that part you glossed over.

But how about the rest of the story. Because you are now making out that is all it is about.

How about explaining how Selmayr got his present position in the EU? It is well known that he is very close to Juncker. The articles I posted on here saying about him were from a couple of years ago. They said how he controls Juncker. They showed how he enjoys being called the names that you didn't like papers calling him. He got a position in the EU that he shouldn't have got as he wasn't even in a position to apply. The job wasn't even available. The job hadn't been advertised. And he can't be removed from the job whatever happens.

Sounds lime Juncker and his job. He has helped billions of tax fraud every year. But they can't look into it. If they did look into it Juncker would be in charge of looking into what Juncker did. And when Juncker applied for his position he was the underdog. Hardly anyone wanted him. So friends in high places again. Most probably Selmayr the puppet master. The same Selmayr that worries your beloved German PM. But she couldn't do anything about it.

And I suppose you will still make out that Germany is still in no way in charge of the EU or benefits more than anyone else from the EU.

Yet carry on Mart. Nowt wrong with the EU and the way it is run. It is all about his grandfather who was a war criminal who got let off with his crimes because he had a job to do. Or are you also going to change your mind on this part as well?

BTW do you want to ask me again why I don't trust the EU? There is much more I could come out with.

And there is the problem. I was all for remain. But the more lies and twisting of words that happened the more I looked into it. The more I looked into it the more I found that I couldn't believe was and had happened. And nothing will change as those that are corrupt or at least dodgy have positions that are hard to take away.

So no Mart. All is not as well as you would like us to believe.

This would help you understand what is going on with your favourite subject.

Barnier = Junckers puppet.
Juncker = Selmayrs puppet.
Selmayr = feared by Merkel and most in Germany.

How many articles do you want to read about Selmayr and what he wants from Brexit? Don't you find it strange how he got his position in the EU as negotiations are supposed to be happening?

He doesn't want a deal. He wants to force us to stay in the EU. He wants us to continue paying billions of pounds in each year. He wants to continue shaping the EU how he wants it.

I suppose you will say that I am wrong. Just let me know in which ways I am wrong and I will prove it.

The EU is as dodgy as anything. Yes we benefit in ways. But I am worried about the direction it is going in. And I have said the same countless times.

The UK with the massively corrupt city of London and washing of cartels' money is hardly in a good position to start going on about 'rules'.

Presumably you mean 'apply'. Can you point out where EU rules only apply to Britain and other countries can do whatever they want?

It's been great to see the emergence of about 10 EU flags alongside the proudly flown Sicilian flag on the seafront here in San Vito Lo Capo. The last time I came here just after the referendum I seem to recall there being only the one.

Considering Italy is about to join France, Austria & Holland in following Britain out of the EU, I'd have thought they'd have been burnt by now.

And how about what you think of the Selmayr debacle?

Or how Juncker can just brush off his past and continue with a top EU job?

Nothing corrupt with the EU. Move along nothing to see. But let's look at the UK which has nothing to do with governing. But let's not look at Juncker who set up tax dodges that have cost us billions. Let's look at something else.

Yes SB. I get your drift.

Just like the billions that have just disappeared in Italy but they just send billions more. Let's not look into that either.

Yes SB we get your drift. Let's look at London only as it doesn't involve the EU.

It was supposed to have already happened in 3 other countries but that doesn't seem to have happened.

There were even arrogant predictions that Ireland would inevitably end up following the UK out due to the success of Brexit, and I recall seeing an article on a Conservative site calling for it to do so to solve the border issue. Farage even went over and campaigned for it earlier this year.

A recent survey returned saying that 92% think Ireland should remain in the EU.

Neither 5Star or La Lega campaigned on leaving the EU, BTW. There is likely to be a proportion of long-term La Lega Nord voters who'd want to leave it but they want to setup their own country entirely.

So do you disagree that anti EU feeling is growing throughout the EU?

And very dodgy appointments like Selmayr will only make it worse. And you know they don't want us to have a deal as others will follow if we make it a success.

Frothing at the mouth now? About someone getting appointed to a top job in an organisation that the UK will shortly not be in. Whilst ignoring the failures of appointments in the UK.... such as the least diplomatic person in public as foreign minister and playing down the appointment of thick as mince as head of the Exit department- who from the first photo of arriving in Brussels without his homework, to his departure when asked to sign up for a plan to exit, couldn’t do his job. Totally as predicted by the person who said he was lazy as a toad.

Now the EU is being blamed for that. The UK has yet to find a workable solution to be able to deal with the rest of the world and still get the benefits of SM and CU, whilst simultaneously stopping payment to be in these organisations.

So the Guardian says the same. The FT says the same. In fact all 'rags as you will call them say the same. It is just worded differently.

People in the EU have let know their feelings. The same people you normally praise.

You wanted to know why I don't trust the EU. This is one of quite a few. We can visit some more reasons once you give your true thoughts of Selmayr. But however many times I ask for your opinion you ignore me or have a go at the source.

Why didn't you have a go at the Guardian and FT for saying the same?

And why is it OK for the papers to describe him how he likes to be known?

As I have constantly said if we make a success of it I can see others following. This is why they are desperate for a no deal however much it hurts people of the EU. Then people like you can blame the leave voters and those leading us out like you already constantly do.

Yeah yeah it didn't happen. No EU rules ever get bent or changed. We hear you Mart. We always hear you Mart. A German is now in charge of 33,000 people in a position he shouldn't have got. But it has nothing to do with the EU being of the benefit of Germany.

Not at all. As you know I was asked what I have against the way the EU is run. This is one of a list. I never said a word until questioned.

Whatever you say we all know it is wrong. We all know he is anti UK. If you want to call that a lie I will prove you wrong yet again.

You ask why his war criminal grandfather was mentioned. Yes he was pardoned to take a job up. We both agreed. We both know what the job was he took up when let off with war crimes. We can discuss the job next if you like. But I have a feeling you want to gloss over the job as you usually do when things get difficult.

And of course it doesn't matter as we are leaving although he is the one directing everything. And if you want to call that a lie we can also go down that route and prove you wrong.

Another lie I see.

Yesterday morning you was one of them that wanted to know what I don't like about the EU.

So it was my fault about what Selmayr has done. It is my fault that his grandfather got found guilty of war crimes and then got pardoned so he could start up the secret police in Germany.

Do we need to go into what happened when he was forced to retire because of his age so he took the German government to court so he could continue with his project?

Bloody hell. Only just touched the tip of the iceberg on this subject. And the more you try to gloss over it the more I will bring to light.

Me frothing at the mouth? Not at all.
