That is if you want the Norway version. Norway has FOM, so no extra for the UK. Japan and Canada are different deals and don’t have FOM so that is not a direct comparison and we haven’t asked for that yet. The EU has offered a customs union, but we have to have the same regulations as the other 27 to be in it. We don’t want that either.

I see it is your normal point of defending anyone dodgy in the EU. Pick someone irrelevant on the subject.

Yes he was intelligent enough to get a post nobody thought he was after which was a post hardly anyone but Juncker knew was available. A post that wasn't even made available to anyone.

So he has got a post that nobody can remove him from. Just like Juncker.

Why is it the dodgy ones in the EU get positions that they can't be removed from however dodgy they are or however much the rest of the EU is unhappy with them?

Then you preach how good the EU is and can't understand why some people have a massive dislike for the way it is run.

You can dislike the way some things are run, but that is not the whole picture. This case is annoying because it involves the appointment of the head of the civil service.

This is power playing and it is not special for the EU.

We’ve been trying to do our own behind the scenes dodgy power playing for months to get a better deal from the commission. We even translated the white paper into foreign languages to make it easier for recipients to understand. Which raised a laugh because of the archaic language. The last time we bothered translating to make it easier for foreigners was probably at the Nürnberg trials.

I would just like to congratulate everyone for their contribution to this thread. Thanks to all your support, we have now made it to 500 pages in length.

I'm now going to The Slug and Lettuce to drink myself stupid. It's the only way I might avoid getting in my car and driving it off a bridge right about now!

At least we know which of us on the forum are unable to leave an argument, or just enjoying arguing in circles.

I understand that. I have never defended Juncker. I am not now. He is an old fox. Knows the rules inside out and how to get round them.

Doesn’t alter the fact that the EU is more beneficial to us than being out of it.

Not so sure with the way it is moving and getting dodgy people in place that can't get removed even if the vast majority are pissed off with what is going on.

Annoying?

So someone gets a post he shouldn't have got. And the worse you can say that it is annoying.

The happiest involved are annoyed. It is things like this that will bring the EU down. Even those heavily involved in the EU are losing faith.

Better take this up with Mart - I’m using his definition of right wing rags whose ownership can be traced back to NAZIS

Is he wrong then? Hooray the black shirts etc. Didn’t ownership of the newspaper group have to change hands (although staying in the same family) as the owner at the time had links to Nazis? Sure it’s cropped up on here before.

No suggestion though that the current family and owners are Nazis like you initially suggested Mart said though. Although you have back tracked a tad though as you’ve changed to traced to Nazis rather than owned by Nazis.

Out of curiosity why is it I got asked why I don't like what happens with the EU and when I bring up just one thing the most solid remainers are more interested in who runs what paper ignoring that it was covered by all papers. Why is this?

Tony I’m quoting Martfacts here

I know every time he likes one of your posts you get a little semi but these are Martfacts

Oh and Tony please you must say NAZIS in block caps or Mart might be upset with you.

Oh and Tony your original point was which far right owners supported remain. Are you saying the Group that own these newspapers are not far right as Martcov states?

Is that correct Tony?

Hello Mart - can you explain why Mentioned NAZI grandfather as Tony and myself have a different interpretation? Also can you clarify who is Monster?

At the same time can you advise if you think the Mail is a far right publication as Tony can’t confirm this for you?

Frothing at the mouth because I equated a biased sensationalist report with the Mail and Sun? I think you are frothing at the mouth as you see Brexit wallowing in chaos. I am watching from a safe place. Enjoy your Brexit... you wanted it.

Can you clarify the initial statement - what did the NAZIS statement mean and why mention it?

Are all publications who support Brexit far right in your view?

Sensationalist?

So Selmayr isn't German. He didn't engineer a job that hadn't been advertised. He wasn't advised by Juncker that the job was going to be available before everyone else knew. And the vast majority of the EU are not pissed off with what has happened.

OK Mart we get your drift. We are used to it.

WOW.

He is intelligent as he got a job in the EU that nobody knew was available. Nobody even knew he was in the running for it. The only person that knew was Juncker. And even he was shocked on how he got it.

But it is OK with you as he is intelligent.
