Ethics ffs???

Ethics that say if you are a part of the EU you are welcome as long as it serves Germany? Otherwise you can just fuck right off!

I never said 'simply'...you did. All I am reinforcing is other's & my arguments that Germany sets the real agenda for the EU to follow. Other's are at least, encouraged to cow-tow. Germany sets a more extreme position, it is watered down a bit then accepted. Given time - it will be.

But the EU simply sets rules to outlaw other imports. That is discriminatory & protectionist. Reciprocal enters into that in NO WAY whatsoever. It means the exporters lose trade, become poorer & citizens feel their only chance is to become a migrant to the EU/USA or similar

Well no. I don’t believe for one minute that people voted for Brexit to help poor farmers denied sales in the EU. Also, if we imported food from some places, the locals would have less to eat. You cannot just say people would be better off. Will Britain give free Trade to these countries without some sort of benefit for Britain?

Denial.

The majority that voted wanted to leave. The remainder was a split between remain & couldn't give a shit!
THAT is the reality. Otherwise they would've voted.

Are you trying to accuse the EU of doing something we won’t do? The EU has quality and ethical standards. You call them price protectionism. They could be price or job protectionism, or they could be genuine standards.

Am I missing something? You sure it was me? If so please advise me of when & the circumstances. If I am wrong I am first to hd my hands up in any given situation. Those that know me will testify that. It has been my downfall on occasions...but never with real intent (i.e. lying) on my part.

So that excuses it's actions?

So if Democratically elected Merkel decided to execute all the Jews in Germany to appease the right wing element of her coalition...that would be okay perhaps???

Merkel isn't even capable of executing a strong enough manifesto to win majority power, so I think the Jews are safe for now.

Are Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Sweden also 'major players in the EU' since they are also not in the Eurozone?
