Have you forgotten about the embarrassing failure of the Brussels trip in December where the much pre publicised speech announcing we had an agreement with the EU and were moving onto the next phase didn’t happen? Why didn’t it happen? Oh yeah the party you seem to think have no influence on the government put the scuppers on it over where the Irish border would be meaning there wasn’t an agreement afterall to announce. Even though an agreement had been made previously, just someone forgot to check with the DUP first.
They can’t make an agreement without the backing of the DUP. I know it, they know it (hence their no free cheque statement), Theresa May now knows it (hence her embarrassingly cancelling a previous announcement after flying into Brussels with a fanfare to announce it).
