Believe that when I see it. Actions are stronger.

We’ve had many conversations on this in this thread and we shall see but never in a millions years can I see a situation where German car manufactures risk any sort of profit from their most profitable market in the world. A business deliberately cutting its own profits because it chooses to? It’s beyond the pale for me.

That comment doesn’t help it though does it?

There is always common ground between the left and right wings of politics.

Ultimately it isn't down to German car manufacturers it will be down to the BDI of which they are a part and the BDI did say exactly what Dutchman said.
I posted the quote in this thread a long time ago. Of course, their stance could soften.

Yes. I believe that. And I believe the Germans.

BTW both CDU and SPD agree on an pushing for an EU finance minister. Grand coalition on the way.

Fair enough is you believe it and we shall see but it won’t happen in my opinion. You’re just cutting your own major profits for no particular reason. Bizzare to me.

On your second point....Thank goodness we voted to leave is all I can say.

It's become a bit of a pantomime usage both ways.

There are over 400 examples of right wing attacks on refugees in the last quarter in Germany alone. Tendency growing. No reports of that on your favourite sites.

Your constant use of the word „almost“ shows that most people aren’t buying your crap.

Not buying your crap doesn’t mean being left wing. In Germany it means belonging to the 87,5% majority who don’t buy your crap.

The right is growing, so they are. Merkel failing to get the majority proves that.

If you would admit to the issues and try to tackle them, you would get more support. Ignoring them and branding the other side as you do does not help the cause.

I'd say that I'm between the centre and left. You bizarrely paint anyone opposed to the far-right as left wing though. Your sympathies are in a minority in this country, BTW.

There's plenty of the fella that murdered Jo Cox with his Britain first flag.
Islamists are fascists in every sense of the word. So are groups like Britain first, the Islamists just happen to be far more dangerous.

Why would I need to? The left constantly panders to Islam as they are a minorty, completely disregarding that it is largely a medieval belief system.

There are some right wing nut jobs, but they are generally isolated lone wolves to be honest. I hate them too.

You are right both groups are facists, but the Islamists are far more dangerous and in much greater numbers.

Exactly. One threat is significantly largely, and much more relevant than the other.

It's also cause and effect. If it wasn't for those 23,000, Britain First's 1000 would be about 1 and a half.

If some people want that, that's absolutely fine. That's their decision even if I disagree with it.

That said, not everyone who voted remain would have wanted that. So not only can you argue that remain isn't actually the status quo, but there is also something to be said for not everyone who voted remain actually knowing what they were voting for.

This will push a lot more people towards understanding why leaving the EU was the right choice, the only sensible choice. You know the electorate won't get a vote on this.

No what frustrates me is it gets denyed on here and it’s obvious. They want an eu army as well. One currency. One border. One superstate to quote Schulz. As you say that’s fine and people like Mart champion this but don’t deny it.

Proof a vote for remain wasn’t for the status quo.

Well to be fair the french and Dutch had a vote in 2005 and Ireland were lucky enough in 2008, it’s just they were ignored and they carried on that’s all. It wasn’t the right answer given.

Not only that but the votes allowed are deliberately fractured, there is no single election on one day where the will of the people could become apparent, voting is done in country blocks on different dates (if allowed at all) allowing the oligarchy to 'tune' their arguments (or refine their lies) before the next hurdle.

So I've read. It was a comment in a Dutch newspaper article, I don't know the details.

I know that after the vote to reject Ukraine associate membership of the EU the Dutch government passed a totally bogus piece of legislation which effectively nullified the result of the referendum.

I’ve never heard anyone say Jo Cox ‘had it coming’ or her murder was in any way justifiable.

The Charlie Hebdo cartoonist on the other hand,
we’re kind of asking for it, what did they expect insulting the prophet?

This is the longest the pro EU whatever happens have gone quiet on this thread. I wonder why.

So what happened to where all nations have to vote on something for it to go through? I got rubbished about a superstate. I got rubbished about things getting pushed through.

I am now officially in the out lot. The bile on here has been pushing me towards it. But this shows the real EU. So what do all those pro EU whatever happens think of this?

Great. You won’t be invited to the party. All members will be given the choice. Like it or leave it. If they are up for it. Fine. If not also fine by me. What is your problem?

You are now in the out lot? Could you tell me what is now different? You will be continuing with your posting exactly as before. As much anti EU as possible. Anyway, what Schultz wants and what he gets are two different things. He has to sell himself as radical to the JUSOs in order to get the green light from the party to go into another Grand Coalition. A lot to do with internal SPD politics. But, you are out anyway. Why worry?
