Why are you trying to disagree with those who agree with you?

it doesn't mean they're OK with me I disagree with their policies but speaking at a rally for a far right group is a different level of cuntishness as far as I'm concerned.

But Juncker is OK because he doesn't join the rallies isn't he?

As usual in this thread what is good for one isn't good for the other.

You really don't need me to explain this to you mate. We all have our believes, and we agree or disagree with politicians based on how they represent us.
Some we grow to hate, some we develop a special hatred for.
For me, someone who aligns themselves with the far right will get that special hatred from me.
If you think Junkers worse then that's your call but for me Farage, is absolute scum and you can post all night but you won't change my opinion.

I said to ESB1 that farage should be nowhere near negotiations after he said he should.
You said the one to keep away from negotiations is junker. But by saying it you've implied that you prefer farage to junker and that's what I've taken from it.
Of course that doesn't mean you like him just prefer him to junker but that's not something I'll ever agree with you on.

Read it again. I am supposed to think that Farage is better than Juncker. But neither has a place in serious politics. They are both a joke.

I think you overestimate Juncker. He has said what he would like. People are giving their opinions on it. That's it. Maybe some things will happen soon and others in the distant future. Farage though is a total tosser who has had far too much airtime for his lies and distortions. His nationalistic vision is of nation states putting their countries first and having committee meetings to sort out problems. The main problem being that a Europe of competing selfish states will be pushed aside by the larger developing countries and by the USA. Forget the nostalgia of a powerful Britain going it alone. That cannot work judging by the economic growth of countries like India, Brazil and China. I think the main problem we have with negotiations is not what Juncker wants - at least he knows what he wants- but that we aren't agreed on what we want. We want to go, but where to and in which direction? Total cock up.

If unemployment was low why is it now the lowest since 75 as you showed in the link? So in other words it went up after 75.

Juncker has got it his way so far. So why should I be confident it will suddenly change?

He is the head of the EU. Why would everyone suddenly ignore him?

FFS you two are getting desperate trying to connect me with Farage in some way. What more can I say than earlier that Farage and Juncker shouldn't be anywhere near serious politics? They are a pair of twats who are in it for what they can get out of it.

No. You said unemployment was lower in the EU. Yet you showed in a link that it went up after we joined the EU.

So yet again you contradict yourself then try and wriggle out of it. Are you Grendels understudy?

You engaged in some whataboutery when you said the one to keep away is junker so again, it implies you prefer him to junker though it doesn't mean you necessarily like him.

I'm a massive 'remoaner' but I'm prepared to say Junker is a twat. One man doesn't make an organisation though, he's head of the commission which can pass no legislation without putting it through the, directly elected, EU parliament.

Could we have someone better in his position? Yes, definitely.
Does that warrant abandoning the whole thing? No.

So it is no secret that I don't like Farage. It is no secret that I think neither should be in serious politics.

You have no point against what I am saying so you as usual come out with something about Farage. Most people that voted leave don't like Farage. That would be like saying that you agree with everything that Juncker says as you want us to stay in the EU.

Spot on.

It isn't because Juncker is in charge though. It is changes he keeps pushing through. We don't have the power to change anything. Being in the EU costs us about 175m a week net. Yet we have as much of a say as those who take millions out each week. I don't see that as being fair. And the more countries that join the more diluted our say becomes.

Are you mental? I didn't initiate discussing Farage. ESB1 did, I responded to him saying Farage should lead negotiations and you jumped in and started going on about Junker.
Which renders the following statement:

"You have no point against what I am saying so you as usual come out with something about Farage"

as paranoid nonsense.

But the point of that is those countries take more to develop their economy and infrastructure. Once they do there will be no need to divert funds to them and there will be much more money to be made all round through trade.
