But surely if Britain is SO good the benefits of living here overall would outweigh a bit of sun? Fact it doesn't I think says a lot about how great we truly are. You don't move out of the perfect house, nice garden in a great neighbourhood with perfect neighbours, spot-on local amenities, bins collected on time, streets cleaned regularly, low crime just cos someone parks outside your house.
It's not a bit of sun is it , its several months barely uninterrupted sun .
Britain's beaches and resorts on the whole very much represent our climate, mostly dull
Also , places in Spain etc near the coast tend to be alot more quiet and relaxing compared to Britain.
It's idilic for retirement
