What’s that then? An end to austerity? An end to elite ruling class and deep damage to society in the uk as the rich get obscenely rich and adult and child social care go to the wall?

It’s a fair shout about Corbyn to be honest. He’s not led this well

What sort of turnout has been expected? The Euro elections have historically been very low.

The only way to achieve a deal with the EU, is to get no deal back on the table. Then there might be some true negotiation

It's people like Emma that I love for the comedic factor.
Implying that all the remainers voted greens and lib dem, would mean that over 60% never voted for remain, my god people cling onto anything haha

This women is an absolute tool

Obviously I don't believe that 60% of Britain want to leave but its just the sheer bullshit spouted just to cling onto any last drop of hope lol

You either walk out the door or you stay inside, you can't stand in the middle.

Leave the European Union, or remain in the European Union.
Fairly simple question asked and answered

I get remainers frustration, but after all the name calling and digs at leave voters, I just don't care

No there won’t.

The EU has done a lot more no deal preparation than the UK, even Farage has said so.

Yea, brexit party will win, but we will have to wait 3 years just to see if people knew what they voted for

Leading leavers during the build up to the referendum were advocating the EEA option which would mean leaving the EU. Obviously that went out of the window though and the goal posts moved. The way some go on you’d think Leave won by a major landslide. (Not implying you are, I mean in general).

Well in terms of constituencies , it was an absolute whitewash.
More voters than the cities of Birmingham and Coventry combined was the winning margin.
Take away London, it was an embarrassingly big margin.

The country wants out
There isn't enough remain constituencies to turn around the numbers in order to win a remain vote even 2nd time round
I still don't see why people can't see this

Over 60% of labour constituencies voted leave, over 70% of tory constituencies voted leave.

I can't see where remain can make up the numbers to win a second referendum

The vote wasn’t done based upon constituencies though, was it? And neither would a second one, so not sure why you keep repeating it?

Take away London? It has a huge population; 2 countries of the UK didn’t vote out actually.

No but you can gauge through numbers of people in said constituencies how people voted before to how they would vote again, and even with some swing towards remain, its just hard to see where they can win it overall.

It's a pipe dream

From the 2014 European elections, Brexit Party has absorbed all of the UKIP vote, and a bit more. Probably has taken more Tory than Labour votes but it’s nuanced.

The Lib Dem’s have taken votes off both Tory and Labour voters and Greens (who I voted in 2014) will mostly be current/ex Labour voters.

This election is polarised between no-deal Brexiteers and ‘Final Say’ referendum Remainers. Hence Labour and Conservatives have been punished.

As I said, the referendum was not a huge landslide and I don’t think that either side should feel like it’d be a foregone conclusion if a second one was to happen.

A referendum isn’t done on constituencies like our general elections, it’s a simple winner takes all.

Pretty abysmal in my opinion.

Ultimately this is just reflecting the referendum result ! So stalemate once again but it shows people like Mart who keep telling everyone that voters have changed their mind are getting it wrong.

Yeah and it’s why using this as some kind of Brexit barometer is not helpful due to the low turnout.

Chances are that only the real diehards on both sides have bothered.

It’s not the point that has been made and that I was referring to though, was it?

It’s no good trying to blame ordinary remain voters for the failings of the government, which has included prominent Brexiteers.
