I was a bit worried it might create a bit of a banana skin for the game but turns it was a bloody brilliant.

Was a great atmosphere but the music was far too quiet.

I'm guessing they just used their speakers rather than going through the sound system as well

Yes that was my thought. Assume it wouldn’t be practical to tap into the sound system due to delay.

It worked. It totally worked. As I looked round at the heaving stadium watching a Cov band sing our (their!) song, all I could think about was where we were 10 years ago. A dire situation with a soulless stadium. It’s been an incredible rise.

In terms of how it sounded its really difficult for a whole stadium of people to stay in tune, which ends up blurring the noise somewhat.

That aside though (and I'm not generally a fan of light shows at football matches), but my God didn't the stadium look good during that performance? And its all ours

You have to give it to Doug he doesn’t stand still if he keeps going at this pace the stadium might get a lick of paint in the summer

It was more concert than football match and I’m OK with that. As always PA guy messed the timing up and had us singing Take me Home for about half an hour but got everyone on their feet singing and carried over into the prematch well I thought.

The PUSB after they finished was the best I've heard at the CBS.

I think that was a Doug white lie to get a demand going There were loads left at 7pm when I got there. Was in the shop about 10 minutes and the shop girls had refilled the racks twice as soon as they started running low while I was there.

Thought it was a different and quality way to open the game to be honest! However, it must be said we’d have received pelters as a club if we didn’t win tonight and rightfully so!!!

Who was doing the PA announcements tonight ? Didn’t sound like Daziel and seemed to be all over the place.

Kick it for a ticket announcer was poor as well. Have they changed it?

Probably the best non-football thing I've witnessed at the CBS. It just felt special and unique to us.

And Doug has had another £90 off our family on top of it.

I enjoyed the pre match show, something different. The team behind all that stuff have done a great job, I wouldn't want it too be a regular thing though, keep it for special occasions only imo.

I never really knew nothing about the band. I’m suprised Paul Weller hasn’t ever claimed royalties off them.
