You should play the Eton Boating song before the games to start of a full ground rendition of PUSB.

I think the band might be a tad slow for our rendition

PUSB should be slower than we sing it these days.

So is Grennan. Fair enough if you don't like his music but he always puts on a proper show and always does cheap tickets.

Notice how Grennan has been given the boot as our celebrity super fan since he started singing the Gillette song.

It seems a lot of people nationwide are impressed. A lot of people seem to be remembering how much they loved that first album.

Safe to say both CCFC and The Enemy and mutually benefiting from this.

I put it in the match thread on the night; that was easily one of the best pre game atmospheres I’ve been involved in.

The Enemy nailed it, the minutes silence was perfect, PUSB was the best in a long time, the light show/fireworks were well integrated and even the usual cheesy phone lights on massively added to it all.

Well done to the Events Team, they had a lot to fit in and they smashed it.

As much as we might want to replicate it, it now has to be saved for an “event” game.

Why does it matter how old “this kid” is?

I was sceptical but the club pulled it off. Amazed to see the ground full 20 minutes before a kick off. Didn’t affect the minutes silence either.

Also 4000 shirts at £45 - even after the enemy presumably take a cut and assuming we pay circa £10 a shirt at cost then a nice easy £100k in the bank.

I mean, in the last 20 or so years Middlesbrough have been promoted, made the UEFA Cup final, won the League Cup….the atmosphere at the CBS is good and everything, just surprised it counts as a Middlesbrough fan’s best ever!

For anybody interested you can now buy The Enemy merch from the online store. Don't tell my dad who I made drive to the CBSA yesterday to get me a hoodie.

These type of 'events' at football matches only look good for clicks on social media, however, I actually enjoyed that the other night. I don't usually get to go to midweek games due to work but I'm glad I went!

Just been to the club shop, they've got the collaboration shirts in.
Thought they were limited edition? Or was there something different about the initial release?

Dalziel messed up his bit about remembrance - obviously used last years speech and didn’t change the “84 years since the blitz” to 85.

Enemy bit was quality though. I actually sang it.
But not at kick off. Just a thing with me.

I'm sure Lorna will ask Frank about this at the presser on Friday... it feels like she mentions it to him every week... the poor bastard!

Did they have a full range of sizes? I saw them on match day but they only had shirts for the larger gentlemen!

Didn't really look but they were only on one rack and the one at the front looked pretty big. Don't know if there were smaller ones behind it

Yeah someone else pointed this out. Weird one really - maybe they didn’t realise but it was quite an important little detail.
