A few posters have commented that "there's a huge gap in quality" between the Champ and League 1 - having watched Brentford quite a lot in the last few years, I can assure you that's not true.

The two divisions are fairly equally matched - there's a good few sides in L1 who could easily hold their own in the Championship.

Anyone who thinks we will canter back up no questions asked has got another think coming! We'll need to spend some money over the summer or a mid-table finish a la Preston beckons!

League one is more physical and less controlled than the champ.

Both sides have a quality of players alot of championship teams don't have, that gap can appear little but when u have Grant Holt and Ricky Lambert (both have been top scorers in both leagues) you can score score goals and win games!

If you have a goal scorer you'll do ok in L1, I'm not sure any of a current players would be up to that job, perhaps a fit Cody Mc, (But honestly, thats just wishful thinking on my part)
