Functional threshold power.... basically the amount of power you can sustain over an hour

saw a bit on the One show last night with Cyclists sending the law videos of poor driving in regard to proximity to cyclists - mmm think that they might awash with not only cyclists stuff but stuff from car driver and biker cams as i have seen some really unsafe stuff lately - so boys take care out there - dont go out in freezing weather in the dark its does'nt make sense

Scary times which has led to cyclists needing to keep cameras for evidence for the police. Some cyclists are ‘entitled’ dickheads and therefore doesn’t help but there is still an unbelievable hatred from motorists towards cyclists still which is sad. Warwickshire police led the way on the distance laws so fair play to them

Team sky set to become team ineos sponsored by a chemical company. Only thing a bit dodgier would be a pharmaceutical company sponsor instead.

Until the next moneybags owner comes along...& the authorities rub their money-grabbing hands together as they consider ways & means of how to get a bigger slice

but there just doesn't seem to be the appetite for it, Tinkoff was one who spent a lot of money in the Sky era but even he couldn't make it stack as the prizes for races just aren't no where near, sponsorship is low value and decent riders wanting more and more.

GC kicking into gear today, be interesting to see how G fairs up La Planche today, doesn't appear to have the form that he had going into last year, think he will end up doing a job for Bernal

Fantastic tour this year, the best for years.congrats to Bernal with some amazing climbing in the alps but gutted for Alaphillippe who was immense so glad he got a mention and a award for most aggressive rider.

Brilliant tour, such a shame it was (unavoidably) curtailed as it was gearing up to be an epic final 2 stages... still, I think the strongest rider won

It's definitely a tough world for cyclists, I remember prior to having my motorcycle, I rode everywhere on my push bike!

I couldn't possibly have been politer to car drivers, and despite this, even when I was riding in cycle lanes, many would often come onto the cycle lane just to fly past me with only an inch gap and beep their horn the moment they're flying past.

It's pathetic how some people think. Feeling good about themselves because they have the protection of a metal cage. Sad losers, the accidents they can cause just to feel a bit bigger, goes to show how small they really are.

I'm really confused, I'm reading them and replying to them and then when I'm checking back, I can totally see the lack of context? I'm sorry, I see your point but idk why it's happening?

Because for some strange reason you aren't reading the threads and just randomly posting on as many as you can.

No mate, I'm trying to be genuine with you and sort it, don't return with crap like that, if it's an issue for you, why not help me instead of just having a pop?

I legitimately read it and saw a discussion of cars vs cyclists, yet looking back at my post, it looks completely out of place, NOT INTENTIONALLY!

I don't ever bother with these things, I'm not privy to all this crap, I'm after a little guidance and answers since you've pointed out an issue that I can see to be true, but don't know why, yet you just wanna talk down to me.

I wanted to give it a bash and see if it really was some ace community type thing, clearly not, this feels really uninviting and unhelpful.

Don't bother to help me, not that you were seeming like you wanted to at all anyway.

Hi mate, I've realised what I was doing, when I'm clicking on the convos they're not loading the latest messages, but the first ones posted, and instead of realising and going to the end, I was replying and it ended up being on the last page, not the pages that were loading upon clicking, which I thought were the most recent...

Like I say mate, I wasn't intentionally tryna get on your tits or nout, just stupid human error

TDF 2020. BUMP. I'm sure we had an old TDF thread but cannot find it?

What a ride by the German lad yesterday....at the point he reached the bottom of the final descent he was over 14KM ahead of the peleton.....effectively covered 10% more distance in the same time. Finished over 17 minutes up on the group. Astonishing effort.

Shame for the tour & Bernal to have to limp out due to pain....but really enjoying seeing the Irish lad keeping the green jersey off Sagans back & the KOM is shaping up as a quality battle of the frenchies...... vive le tour.

Great Tour this year. The amount of crashes in the first week surprised me.

That is brilliant. Fair play to the lad too, because even when they're coasting the pros go faster than I could sprint!
