Giving it the coffee salute to the Southend goal scorer... very cringeworthy

So I saw a barclays banker sign but not a gareth hunt sign. Interesting how that would look

Ha, ha, We could have a bit of fun with this thread. No slang or innuendo intended, That was the actors real name. Mainly famous for the New avengers, he appeared in a series of Nescafe adverts which featured him shaking a handful of coffee beans in a suggestive manner which had us all choking on our mellow birds. (Again, no innuendo intended.)

Pointless thread by someone who has probably been to 3 Cov games in the last 20 years - OP is probably still calling for lifetime bans for those who went on the pitch vs Chesterfield

Ah right of course. I remember the advert and often use the term what a gareth. Had forgotten the shaking action though!

Big assumption that. Like me saying that your username suggests you are one of those people who think the world didn't start until 2000

He's a WUM, ignore him. If you look at his post history, it's mostly WUM attempts. He maintains he isn't one though, bafflingly.

Once the term ''Probably'' is used , that renders the opinion irrelevant .

Preferred the slightly later version with Sarah Greene (ex of Blue Peter and Saturday Superstore) doing the action, with the tagline "You've got to magic the beans". Kep me going through my difficult teenage years!!!

On a slightly different note, there was also a Cov fan who thought he would take it upon himself to start an argument with just about everyone around him. I personally don't boo our team as I think its counter-intuitive but by no means object to other people doing it as they have paid their money and can make their own decisions about how they want to react to a performance. This guy decided he would turn around and tell everyone to 'f*** off' and 'go support Villa you tw*ts' continuously until a fellow Coventry supporter informed him what a complete eejit he was and then a fight ensued. Nothing like a bit of infighting... However, he wasn't perturbed by the initial fight and then proceeded to slag off the Cov support for the second half for 'only singing when we are winning' and we 'don't support the team enough'. You are saying this to people who have probably parted with £70+ each and travelled 3.5hours+ to watch their team play. To whoever it was, I was embarrassed for you and I would stay off the shandy's if you go to an away game again.

I had a bloke turn up next to me and my lad, in the front row, at half time absolutely wankered and all he come come out with was pretty bad racist stuff towards rcc and bigi. My lad who is 9 and black has, fortunately, never come across this before and if he wasnt with me i would have done more than tell him to fuck off and sit somewhere else, he did fuck off tho.

Awful behaviour. Should have at least had him kicked out.

He was oblivious to the content, despite the close proximity, thankfully. He did ask why i was shouting at that man and i just said he was being an idiot.

It amazes me that in this day and age there are people who still think like that, let alone happy to broadcast it. Then you have to add in that its players on the team you're supposed to be supporting!

Totally unacceptable behaviour, would have no problem with them being kicked out and given a ban, we don't need people like that at our games.

What's with the pc malarkey ? I'm too old for that gonads . when you've stood in the West End with guys and [ Some Women] pissing down the back of your legs , running battles with Arsenal ,Bristol City , Man Utd , Spurs etc , I think I've earned the right to be un-pc ................... mind , don't tell my Nemesis , I don't attend games, apparently .

Hasnt mentioned anything to me or his mum since. He did ask why i was shouting at the man and he wanted to leave shortly after, hopefully that was because of what we served up on the pitch and nothing else.

There was a guy in the left corner a few rows in front of us, was looking for arguments all game. I gather part of it was him moaning about not being able to sit down as everyone else was stood up. He carried on to the point where he was thrown out in the 2nd half.

If you're talking about the person I think you are, it definitely wasn't him.
