Amazing. Couldn't have signed any players since he took over then - winning with new players can't happen.

ah yer, crap stat then. Says nothing about the team or his ability as a manager...

On that BASIS, Thorn has never lost a game for us in League One !!

Do NOT make this another thread about THORN or I will wrap it up so quick you will wonder what happened.

EVERY thread becomes an anti-Thorn thread, either directly or by insinuation. Frankly speaking, it's an embarrassment

So what do you suggest we do? That is obviously what is on people's minds on a city forum.

Talk about Swindon and the problems that they may cause us as per the op maybe?

They aren't our competition.

We will end up mid-table this season and people will still be trotting out excuses.

It's nothing to do with Thorn as he never said anything about needing time - it's a comment about the supporters who view that as a reason for an indifferent start which some of us do not agree with.

In League Two Swindon ripped up the entire squad and bought 20 new players - 15 before the August transfer window closed and many were overseas free transfers. They did lose a couple of early games (won the opener though) and then went on a run especially at home.

80% of current threads on here have no mention of Thorn anyway so EVERY thread is a gross exaggeration.

Give people a quota of key-words. These would include: Thorn, clueless, diamond, fat, fault, manager, plump-scout, wanker, chubby, formation, portly, out-of-position, glutton, bald, worst-ever and pie.

Allow people free use of any two in a 24-hour period; thereafter, they're locked out like if you incorrectly enter a password three times. At least there'd be more imagination to the vitriol

I guess I can't understand why anyone would wish to already 'label' our season with any word, let alone 'indifferent'; when we've played 3 competative games, lost none, two of which have been away from home

:thinking about:

And if we talk about them we look at what they seem very good at - seemingly playing an open aggressive style of football which last season gave a huge positive goal difference - and a manager than takes risks. It is naive to suggest no-one will then draw conclusions about our shortcomings in comparison.

Let's also include: gel, torn, amputated, exciting, unlucky, nice guy, & ripped.

There are 14 active threads at the moment and two are discussing the manager.

They drew to Hartlepool who are worse than Yeovil - oh and they failed to score...

... Di Canio should get sacked, he's the 'clueless one!'

No it's because people like you and Grendal have a vandetta against Thorn and it comes across as wierdly obsessive!

Hardly a vendetta, do Blackburn supporters have a vendetta against Steve Kean?

Some people were attacked as they could see SISU for what they really were whilst the rest were clapping like seals.

It just takes some longer to catch on to certain things.

Di Canneo got promoted and we got relegated.

No one has a vendetta and if we are talking obsessive 90% of your posts are on the fascinating topic of 4-4-2 vs 4-1-1-4 vs diamond vs 3-5-2

No it was not. It was a comment specifically aimed at the people who in the last 2 weeks have obsessed about the amount of new signings inhibiting performance.

Something I question.

You had better get onto the thread about Thorn's quotes in the telegraph.

He says Bury play 2 banks of 4! Sounds an exciting debate could get started there.

You only question it within the context that most reasonable folk would wish for longer than 3 games for a new first-team to gel and would hold that up as a consideration to hold the baying wolves at arm's-length. By raising the point as you do, you're trying to use Di Canio's season-long performance to dispel this myth, and therefore leave Thorn exposed for you to continue baiting in your crazed frenzy

Blackburn fans, on a whole, do have a vandetta against Kean, winning 1-0 and still calling for him.

SiSU, whilst being rubbish owners, are still keeping the club solvent and the bigger picture is, who will take the club over?

Hoffman? he's quiet all of a sudden! The fans? What the ones who can't be arsed to turn up to games!?

You's are the ones that need to catch on, Thorn hasn't lost this season and is here for the foreseeable future!

I was in the "Thorn out" brigade but after realising he has HIS team and he (not on his own!) got us here, he deserves a chance to get us back up with HIS team! (1st 10 games).

Let's face it relegation has been inevitable for a few years now, if you didn't see it... Sorry you're naive.
