Celebrations all day long.

I used to love miniature heroes but once they stuck chocolate eclairs in the mix I shunned them forever.

My favourite Christmas song for all of us atheists - and the true meaning of Christmas for me (brings a tear to the eye when he sings about his baby daughter).

Would you bloody believe it?

The last of our Christmas food arrived today. Not that we're likely to cook it, because our oven's heating element has just decided to go bang, and I highly doubt anyone will be able to fix it this side of Christmas.

Merry bloody Christmas. Ho, ho, ho, bah humbug

Buy a couple of mini-ovens. That's what we've done. Our cooker has died too.

Think we've got one ordered to pick up. Our Microwave has an oven feature too. Think we've also lucked in to finding an electrician to come look at a repair. Hopefully it's fixable.

These things only ever go wrong at the worst possible time don't they!

Someone came out to change the heating element on our oven and it seems to be working for now at least. Fingers crossed it stays that way!!

Cheers, Daz, very kind of you.

What we have and what we have used for years are warming plates powered by tealights. They work well.

Really appreciate the kind offer though.

Merry Christmas

The panic of supermarkets is pathetic. People rushing as if there's a natural disaster about to happen.

Need to have a word with themselves.

Thing is, I went to Tesco and Asda down Jubilee Crescent this morning and both were dead, Asda especially.

Only went in to get some mouth ulcer gel for my daughter. Couldn't believe how quiet it was. Thought it was going to be heaving.

You too Daz.

I am now in full planning for next year's Christmas mode.

As this year's Christmas only took me 5 mins to plan, I shouldn't be very long.
