Don't really get into the Christmas spirit anymore, but do love Christmas day itself. Big fuck off dinner and drinks with all the family I've been trying to avoid all year.

Even better, straight up and back on it!

Pubs are usually rammed, all the lads are out and a shed load of sport! Perfect.

Pub 2 minutes walk away is doing £2.50 for all pints in December. I feel rough today.

Stokes Croft Beer Garden, it's covered with heaters in winter so not outside. Why, planning a trip west?

I wanted to get my wife some silky silky underwear for Christmas. I went in the shop and picked something up and asked 'are those satin?' and the assistant said 'no, they're new'.

Only now just getting any sense of Christmassy feelings. It starts far too early with all the stupid girlies that have kids far too soon in life, screaming about Christmas in bleedin' August! They're only kids themselves, most of them! I am 100% Atheist so I don't feel that I should celebrate something I don't believe in, but with 17 grandkids and 1 great grandson, I try to make it special for them. Costs me a bloody fortune though!

Don't worry about being an atheist HH, most of the great things about Christmas are pagan in origin, only the nativity is for the gullibles. Enjoy it and make merry.

I don't think I could get smashed on Christmas / boxing day any more. Will go to football or watch it but ends up ruining it feeling rough.

Thought I was in on Xmas eve and Boxing Day, but had forgotten that I had said I will work New Year’s Day instead of Boxing Day and then managed to get Xmas eve off as well.

So happier now

Can't beat watching a Christmas film with the kids. (Or is it 'can't beat the kids while watching a Christmas film?') :emoji_thinking:

She said she’s going back in tomorrow
Don’t know if she’s feeling better or fed up with my film choices
