My thoughts Leeds fans just like us all those years ago will be very much looking forward to playing the top teams again.I also think they will make a good fist of staying up.

They only played them a couple of years ago.

Getting promoted would hopefully sort out the clubs finances and maybe lead to new ownership with plenty of funds to keep us up.
That said, I enjoy the Championship, particularly if we can challenge for play offs most seasons.

Obviously do want us to get to the Premier League and be nice to visit some of the grounds I've not been to yet, but think the novelty would quickly wear off if we had a season like the three teams who are back in the Championship this season.

Atmosphere-wise, people say the Premier League is poor, but I don't think the Championship is that much better tbh - albeit ours is one of the better ones.
Not an away game goes by without the football in a library chant coming out

I just think that we enter every season to try and get promotion and then once promoted the objective would be to stay there , I assumed fans shared this view .

Yeah… the idea that fans would just like to challenge in the second division is small club mentality.

basically putting the ceiling there of - “what a great season. Doesn’t get any better than finishing 7th in the 2nd division”
