Much to the chagrin of many I know, it helped us and thousands of others immensely for the A444 to be closed after the game. We park a fair way away and are fit enough to do that right now and walked quickly and safely back to the car and out the back way through Ash Green towards Bedworth/ Nuneaton.
Must be a tad frustrating for those who cannot walk as far and have shelled out to be in the car parks.

I think it's fair to say supporters behind the goal won't be effecting the atmosphere negatively ..

At time the noise was quite deafening , louder than I've ever heard in that corner with the extention of the end .

I now firmly believe coventry have the potential to have one of if not the best ends in the country , a massive 6 or 7 thousand fans that extend from the away fans to block 18

Having the safe standing behind the goal definitely helped to liven up the stand, rather than it being a sat down buffer between singers corner and the away fans! Definitely added to the atmosphere and reach of the songs, well done all.

The world has changed though hasn’t it and is not always safe and parents aren’t absented from their responsibilities when someone enters a football stadium. Pretty sure u14 there are strict accompanying rules above that no so sure

It's how you police this though, because it seems to be on the whim of a steward. My lad is 15 and was denied entry. Luckily I was a few minutes behind him so he could wait, but often it will be the other way around. He's 16 in a few weeks and won't look any older. Seems to be a recipe for mistakes. The fact a 15 year old with his first ST had to walk home last night and miss the game is a shame. He probably could have got I if he had kept trying, but he is a shy lad who got a bit spooked by it all. I will try to get his ST moved so he can come with us from now on, but this really shouldn't be happening.

The balcony looked so empty last night, the prices are obviously too high, the rest of the stadium though looked amazing, I've never seen so many City shirts at a game as last night.

It is cost but also there’s not enough space away from the seats in the rooms behind

Yes shame about the balcony, they need to rethink those prices. Way too expensive unless marketed direct at big companies and even then you need to get some numbers up there.
Mahou lounge …..I pay €2 a pint in my Spanish local at happy hour. They’re trying to make it sound all refined if you throw in a bit of tapas.

Are we saying a steward should make the determination on whether someone is over 14 based on how they look? It also appears the benchmark last night was 16. The parents have purchased a ST for their son, that's their decision, verified their age with a birth certificate and there are no restrictions imposed on age outside of FZ. They shouldn't be denied entry. If this is policy they should announce it like you say and offer refunds for those who can no longer go.

Like I say it should be on the ticket and it should be 14 as I think it is for concerts and things like that and even then it’s not obvious other than fz in the charter that I could see

You don't sit by me do you? I've got two older guys behind me who must have both won the Balloon D'or at some point given the level of criticism they spout all game. One nearly kicked my mum in the face at one point, trying to show Wright that he should be shooting. I'm a bit worried they are going to have a cardiac arrest one day with how apoplectic with rage they get at every tiny mistake, or sideways or back wards pass, misplaced shot, etc, etc.

The music 10 minutes before the start is just too loud. We don’t need to be outsung by their speakers. Let’s hear more of the crowd singing instead

I'm 99.9% certain it's under 14s that can't go in unaccompanied because that was the rationale for no longer giving free carers tickets to accompany under 14s.

The stewards were def on the case last night. Never seen them check everyone coming through is coming in on the right ticket but they were watching like hawks last night.

The pre-game mix used to be brilliant. All the Cov songs in one.

They've tried changing it up in the past 12 months and it doesn't really work.

I think that change is for the better. But the fans should be heard more than the music.
We do hear the occasional rendition of the old songs.

I think I hear ‘Mr Blue Sky’ more at away games…

The atmosphere was great last night, fans were superb apart from one bellend who had to throw a bottle of something into the crowd in block, 23. Whoever it was what a bloody star you are - hitting kids and soaking people!

Just why???
