What a venue, almost packed to the rafters, almost becoming like an away trip but at home setting off a full 2hrs 20 mins beforehand, Bottle necks and congestion needs work! transportation pre match entertainment, work to do.
Fan's can't really do any more.
A captive audience I'd suggest?

I had a "fan" behind me who spent the whole match saying how crap we were ,all the players were rubbish and Dovin was no good. Think I'll sit somewhere else next time.

The train situation needs sorting out. Ideally the match ticket would also include the train journey like at Brighton.

The new arrangement for the away fans is so much better.

Also was it my imagination but have they done something to make the posh seats underneath the boxes are more occupied. That always used to look bad for TV.

You can tell that shirt sales have been good.

And the buses, mental that the service on along Sewell highway doesn't run on the return journey,so forcing you into town then out again,a major radial route, should a double decker or two or three not a 30 seat affair, get some proper stops sorted as well as winters coming!

This is my first ever season with a season ticket (after all I have supported for over 60 years). I was a bit worried as at several games last year I was surrounded by gobby, negative dickheads. Millwall was particularly bad - had to move seat. Nice to report that the people around me are proper supporters and I shall enjoy their company for the rest of the season

A good number around me were leaving for the train at about 80 minutes to avoid having to wait nearly an hour for the next one. If the club is able to put on shuttles so people don’t feel like they need to do that, it would really help.

Doesn't get the credit it deserves from non-CCFC fans, probably cause the camera angle does us no favours at all as it shows pockets of empty seats in the West Stand

Or rescheduling the timetable? To fit round the football, I mean I wonder how many travellers are heading to Bedworth, Nuneaton at the time of the match, not many I'd wager! Certainly not a full train of paying customers.

Perhaps try to arrange some matchday special services, they’d easily have demand.

One issue last night that surprised me, they were not letting Under 16s into the game without an adult, anywhere in the ground. My lads mate from school (15 and with his first ever season ticket) was denied entry at multiple tunstiles but eventually got it when steward was distracted. I heard another couldn't get in at all and had to walk home. Did it with my lad too, but luckily he'd only walked ahead of me by a couple of minutes. FZ is fair enough, but you can't sell individual seats to under 16s in other parts of the ground and deny them entry, especially when you have asked them to verify their age already.

My lad and his mate both 15 were let in on their own into the FZ. I'd already gone in as they were chatting with a mate outside.

I also got in on an u14 ticket, as I'd given them the wrong cards before hand!

So the one area when you'd think they would check was fine. I am guessing there was some miscommunication with stewards, because it can't be policy.

What does it say about this in terms and conditions?

They need to get people on shuttle buses. If they are closing the roads, they could line them up with double deckers. Away fans would use it.

Doesn't have the capacity to run. Two carriages are always full both way after the game.

Haven't checked but I'd have thought a policy of 100+ years would continue and if not they would make it very clear with an announcement. I started to go on my own at HR from the age of 13. Loads of youngsters 14-16 go up together. If they are going to be denied entry it needs to be made clear. I'm guessing many will have dodged the checks, but it's a bit strange. Like I say, probably not policy just miscommunication.

Had a beer in the casino bar after, where they always have a former player on the stage, got the train at 10:50pm and was only myself and kiosk staff on it.

Looked in the customer charter it doesn’t mention anything
I’d be content for them with safeguarding responsibilities to refuse u14 without an adult but I don’t know what age that would stop
Will definitely ask and put it on here

Cheers Pete. Difficult one to police, my lads mate is 15 but looks a bit younger. We certainly don't want to discourage groups of school pals going to games together.

Do we still think there can’t be an atmosphere with the away fans on the far side?

I thought the noise was deafening at times last night.

My throat is so sore this morning and I’m not even much of a singer!

The world has changed though hasn’t it and is not always safe and parents aren’t absented from their responsibilities when someone enters a football stadium. Pretty sure u14 there are strict accompanying rules above that no so sure

Because of the way it fell. If it was a 7:45 kick off, the 9:50 would be heaving.

If that’s the case then fair enough, but equally so the club shouldn’t be selling junior tickets without making people aware of the policy

I think it's fair to say supporters behind the goal won't be effecting the atmosphere negatively ..

At time the noise was quite deafening , louder than I've ever heard in that corner with the extention of the end .

I now firmly believe coventry have the potential to have one of if not the best ends in the country , a massive 6 or 7 thousand fans that extend from the away fans to block 18
