Oh, that's changed again.
Please try to keep up.
The new grand vision is to rent a ground off a rugby club, and have access to a percentage
Of the revenue streams. Sound familiar.
Only this time we are going to do it in a stadium that will safeguard our position somewhere
Between League 1 and the lower reaches of non league. Genius.
Only supporters of this club could get excited about a backward move, a bullshit one at that.

It's OK, that's the Nuneaton line to the Ricoh. It's not like there's more than one train a day anyway. I'm sure they won't mind waiting whilst the opposition take their corners (and subsequently celebrate their goals), for our side it's obviously academic.

So what is the best thing for us to do then? You seem to be clued up so what is the solution. Renting from Wasps with a tiny income? That's our future is it?

I don't realistically think there are many that believe him.
Wasps don't either but they will just say they did when they make alternative arrangements.

Like with everything it's a move to get a better negotiation out of Wasps.
Normally you would think that that is a good call. However like with every time we have tried a bluff so far it will backfire and we will just get booted out.

How about committing long term to the Ricoh and getting an improved deal as a result ?
How about buying into income streams as they become available and increasing that percentage ?
How about building our own sports facilities and renting them back when not in use ?
I could go on about increasing income streams but I bet I've already lost a few.

Torch, with SISU at the helm there is no future for CCFC, we're just stuttering towards
An inevitable conclusion, this is just more BS.
If we move to the butts it will be with a couple of temp stands, just enough to keep the
EFL happy, we'll then be there until the legals are concluded and then. Pop

There is no improved deal for long term only a far far worse one on offer.

Perhaps we should conspire with a local authority to boot a club out of its training academy set up and then pretend we will spend £7 million on it

A fantasy as much as Fisher's new stadium. Why would Wasps give us more income when they need every single penny themselves?

Wasn't it £75000 revenue at the Ricoh, obviously that could improve considerably if
They did more to entice people back to the club.
How much do you think our share would be at the butts.

Who knows? Certainly not you or I. If there is even a small chance of being at the Butts I would take it over staying at the Ricoh. Each to our own though.

OK have it your way. You've convinced me. It has planning approval for 15K without restrictions. Tim has the finances in place. As he knows how much finances it's going to need it must be safe to assume that the build has already gone out to tender so a contract must be waiting to be signed given that we've had everything confirmed to be in place from the geniuses that are yourself, old fiver and Tim Fisher.

So as you know everything without a doubt of any sort when is the first spade going in the ground? What season are we kicking off at the BPA in this brand shiny new stadium that everything is in place for? Roughly? I won't hold you to a particular day, week or month. Actually you can have year as well. Sod it. You can narrow it down to a decade if you like.

It doesn't need to be more than r15k. By the time we would want to increase it the Ricoh will need new owners as the wankers will be bust.

Can't see any movement on a relocation until JR2 is complete. Fisher will do a 1 year rolling deal with Wasps until that point. By the sounds of it, Wasps need the cash.
If they lose JR2, they will either sell up an leave or have to start making proper plans to grow CCFC as a business. God knows what happens if they win JR2??

Can't really argue with anything Sharp has said. Don't think any of our supporters would want a plan that had a negative impact on the rugby club.

If this is all a smoke screen I don't get what Sharp stands to benefit by assisting Fisher / SISU?

Not sure where the Planning Application rumour came from but I dont believe there is one in place. What has been suggested from a few official sources is that there are architect plans of a 15-25k stadium. (Apologies if I have got that bit wrong as it may be for a 25k stadium)

There would be no point putting in the Planning application before the bigger parts of the project are in place, namely here is the finance, as if the process got long winded and messy, or legal, your permission could eventually lapse.

That's actually exactly why you put an outline planning application in in the first instance. There's no point spending time and money arranging finances, paying architects to draw up plan's and designs etc. When you don't know if there is even a chance of it happening. That's why there is an outline application process. Don't believe me google outline planning application. There's loads of guidance online not only from the government but also independent planning specialist. This is why I don't buy it. Some posters will have you believe that it's possible to get a 25k stadium on the site. If that's so why isn't there an outline application in place? It cost very little to do especially in comparison to spanking a fortune on having plans ready to submit for a detailed planning application blindly hoping it gets approved. In essence it's due diligence to put an outline application in first before you spend good money chasing a detailed application.

Like I said, all the information is on line. Don't take my word for it.

I think its probably truer to say it previously had an application approved rather than it has an application approved. But don't let details like that detract you.

With Wasps being strapped for cash to meet their commitments and fisher states funding is in place why not make a cheeky offer to become co-owners of the Ricoh?
I dont understand this desire to move from the Ricoh, yes it's too big, yes it's soulless and yes it is on the edge of the city but why the fixation with BPA? Is it just to get away from Wasps? So becoming a tenant of a poorer stadium is the answer?
If our ambitions are to be league 2 then I get it, but if we want to get back to the heights we once scaled then the Ricoh is a vehicle to help us providing we can be more than tenants.
I don't profess to have intimate knowledge of this subject but to me if there is a window of opportunity to solve two problems then why not try it?
I had to laugh yesterday when somebody said that the Gilbert exclusive was going to be tWasps changing seat colors, well I suspect that is low down on their list of what to spend money on.

If SISU bought into the Ricoh now they would also be buying into the debt to the bond holders. And this is much higher than the debt to CCC that they wouldn't take on.
