Tell me im wrong?

The willingness to battle, to challenge, to play great football, to cover your teammate, to put your body on the line, to create chances and score against teams that 4 years ago we could only dream about.

This bunch are special. Im not saying promotion, but i really dont think we're far off at all.

And the bond between fans and team. When was the last time a player received a standing ovation for running his bollocks off, like Gyok did after turning his man and heading for goal. I actually feel quite emotional ffs

We look so comfortable on the ball and comfortable defending too.

Hard to see us not having a decent season at the moment. We are not top 6 quality on paper but keep playing the way we are and you never know! Just need to work on the final pass and we will end up humping a team by multiple goals one day!

They certainly are giving everything for the cause. The test will come when we lose a couple. Hopefully the supporters will keep behind them and remember how this team has developed rapidly.

Best, maybe. A couple of the soon after relegation possibly more quality, but never felt they'dachieve anything. This lot certainly most exciting, best spirit, best connection and hardest working.

We had some very good players under Coleman , just unfortunate he was a truly dreadful manager

Need Hamer to ping a few shots like David Thompson

Another thing is players trying something but misplacing a pass or messing up a shot and getting applauded rather than groans.
Must give them confidence to try again.

Certainly not questioned the commitment or work rate since the relegated league one season. We are all part of something special happening here

I’m 45 years old now and this is the best brand of football I have ever seen a City team play!!
Long may it continue!!

Can't think of any players we had as good as Hamer and O'Hare.

We’ve had better individuals in the past but never seen a city team be as neat and brave on the ball whilst being as hardworking and organised off it. Best manager since relegation isn’t even a discussion.

David Thompson maybe. Gary McAllister might have been old but possibly up there.

That’s not to say that I don’t think O’Hare isn’t brilliant or Hamer for that matter.

We’ve had some great players but the team never seemed to gel.

The biggest difference for me is that if we concede our heads don’t drop like they used to and we fight till the end. That’s a great team.

I think Fulham will be a good test. There favourites to go up and if we can even grab a point against them, then there’s no denying that this team can go places

100%

There were 3 or 4 occasions tonight where a slightly better pass or a bit of luck would have put us clean through.

Pure cliche but it des feel like there will be a game when it clicks and we absolutely roll a team over.

I was saying to my dad earlier, and bear in mind I’ve missed the last 2 home games due to no tickets and other factors.

We play better football now than we did in the prem days. Football has changed from even 10 years ago. Pretty much every footballer is technical now. And that allows tactics to be more beneficial. Old timers love the bluster of the old days but I genuinely believe, Dublins and McAllisters aside, there are players in our squad now who would get in the 1998/99 team. Look back at highlights. Launch and hope. Big toe punt, big man little man up top. Everything is of it’s time, but even then it wasn’t good football.

Edit: My dad told me to fuck off as I was talking shit by the way ha ha

The most impressive thing is the defence

The player Hyam was at the start of his cov career slow and basic to now is staggering

Fadz commitment and organising in Indian summer of his career is astonishing

The word is team which we’ve been a good side for a couple of years now but the way the defence has bridges the gap from last season is impressive

Robins has evolved his style and is now starting to make the side more dimensional in attack

It looks like every single player on the team is passing much better than they did last year. There were a lot of times where there were multiple short passes to break from pressure, whereas in the same situation last year there either would have been a lack of confidence to do that or they would have given the ball away trying to do that.

I actually thought this last night. Best football since 1999-2000. Didnt want to post it in case it was post match over excitement! Learn to keep it simple on midfield where appropriate ( last 10 mins when you are 1-0 up) and learn when to shoot instead of looking for one more pass and I think you have a top 6 side, genuinely

Best football I have seen us play since I started supporting us first year we were in the old division one. As someone else said above , maybe not the best squad we’ve had, but the best team it most certainly is.

We seemed to have cut out the silly mistakes that cost us goals last year , so solid at the back. It’s a joy to watch

A good word team, this team squad of players ,robins and backroom, finally the supporters all those 3 components make it the best collective of team we have had since sillets and curtis cup winning team as even that was not as good as this team.pusb

Certainly but if you look from 2005 onwards, O'Hare and Hamer are the most gifted we've had.

I am beginning to think we could get into the play offs this season. Cardiff and Middlesbrough were 2 teams that you would expect to be pushing for play offs and we’ve beat both quite comfortably.

Fulham, West Brom and Bournemouth look a cut above. Sheffield United you would imagine will turn it around. Stoke and QPR look decent but other than that I don’t see a team better than us in the league. And yes I know I am getting carried away.
