I don't have a problem with this statement in the whole. The club is obliged to say something if for no other reason than to appease the FL. They could have worded it better and delivered the same message though but its a big improvement on what twat face had to say on the radio for sure.

The club has to say that they will investigate, banning orders etc. because they can't condone it - because peaceful or not, it is illegal. Same goes for the FA/FL

Interesting other example - Newcastle ban given a banning order when he went on to celebrate http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-fan-handed-banning-order-7602653

I agree, they have to be seen to be doing something - weather or not people actually get banned, I would be surprised if they followed through. Makes the right noises and dissaudes others from going on the pitch in the future.

I think from the tone in his voice on talksport, relish and glee, then this is unlikely to be seen as an exercise in assuaging the FA or League.

Unfortunately I don't understand why fisher sees it as a sensible way to behave. He's not stupid - it's a character trait that he cannot avoid it seems.

If he made some attempt at unity he would remove angst against him but he seems to thrive on it.

I don't know how much influence he has but if it is him running the club on the constraints it faces he's actually doing it very well. That's going to get the pitchfork mob going but i don't know how he's managing a cash neutral strategy 365 days a year.

Unfortunately part of the job is customer care and liaison - and he's found seriously wanting in this area.

The apparent glee, imho, in which Fisher jumped on the EFL band wagon to denigrate the supporters was tantamount to that of a spoilt child.
A friend @ the Southend match told me that he was sat in front of TF & when it was pointed out, about supporters being CCFC fans, he allegedly said, 'they're a bloody nuisance', if this was fact, is this the right thing for a chairman to say about his own fans ?

I think he should remove himself entirely away from the club.
Do whatever he has to do remotely and find someone local That the fanbase will relate to or someone local capable of satisfying Joys remit, and step down.
This is football and he's an insult to most fans eyes, it could turn uglier for him.
He hasn't been able to reach me since I met him 5 years ago.
I think I could almost live with SISU hanging onto us If he wasn't delivering it.
He's surely costing us on the gates and commercially.
Re your first sentence it's almost like he wants it and divisions among the fanbase.

I believe the club can only give you a club ban therefore you would still be able to attend away matches.
They cannot give you a banning order that keeps you from entering other grounds, that is a court issue and we know they love going to court, couldn't beat the shitty council so will now take the fans on instead.Fucking Wankers.

Bottom of division 3, homeless, soon to lose our own training ground just to rent another one, attendances plummeting, respect lost from just about every supporter, protests includiing going on the pitch during a game, the media are now giving him a hard time and only cash neutral for the first time because of selling a player.

And you say that he is doing very well? :shifty:

What do you do when you've been shown up on national tv ? for being inept at everything you've done at the Football Club ??

You ''Deflect '' stop the '' Flow '' talk about things that make you appear to be the '' Victim ''

It's never your fault ,
It's never your fault ,
Always the victim ,

How is decimating your "customer" base running a company well? Surely the purpose of a compNy is to make money while giving customer satisfaction and so increase the customer base to make more money. All he does is make cuts which gives an inferior product which leads to less customers. He is a disaster.

"The Banning Order". Shame, I thought this might be the name of a gritty new ITV drama. Starring Mark Venus as Jobbo, an unemployed lumberjack, it follows Mark wandering around Coventry in the 1970s harassing shoppers...

No more ITV threads please guys - it's getting boring now.

Not suggesting we should , but as a last resort what would happen if everyone went on the pitch , last five minutes of a game ( many of them season ticket holders ) ?Would we be the first club in history to ban our own fans base from attending? , while still claiming we need our own ground to for sustainability , How could even Fisher justify banning all your customers and then complain you have no income , More importantly how could Sisu explain that to there investors

Well overdue, imho, to not only find out who these mystery investors are,
but also to let them know just how their investment has & is being handled, & by whom ?
