Good article, and sums it pretty much up.

Neither of us really care about each other, and nobody cares about either of us.

Only thing is though, none of the rest of the country care about Leshtur either.

Difficult to disagree with much of this to be honest, but then again, it's not really covering new ground. Most on here would agree that the perception of rivalry depends mainly on geography and age; myself, I've supported us in the top flight for about the same length of time as we've been outside it. As I didn't go to anywhere near as many games back then, I'd rank yourselves over the Villa, but possibly below Blues.

Speaking as one who has had to live in Leicester for the past 15 years I can tell you it's a bloody rivalry in my immediate vicinity! The stick I get year on year is relentless but good natured I have to admit. Had a bet running with my old boss for years on who'd finish higher in the League, Cov or Leicester - winner gets dinner for himself and wife at restaurant of his choice - looser pays - I nearly always end up losing obviously - bet suspended now we're in different leagues..... Guess where he makes me take him every time..... that's right - bloody walkers stadium restaurant!!!!!!!!!

LOL - No he's a great guy really is - a real 'all sports' fan and follows every Leicester team - especially the football - really can't fault him for that - could do with more like him at COV

I have 3 brothers that live in Hinckley. 2 of them are Fester scum. We have a rule. We always go in the away end. Give the Fester scum loads of shite at our ground

I still view Villa as our main rivals and long for the day we play them again. To say they have forgotten about us is a little unfair, as they still brag about sending us down, they even advertise their "Greatest Villa Goals" DVD as "Including The Paul Merson Stunner That Sent Local Rivals Coventry Down"

I do get excited about Leicester though. They are a definate second. But to me they have been since before we were in the Champ.

Wolves, Baggies and Blues are joint third. I'm not too fussed when we lose to them but take great pleasure in beating them.

The only rivals I have are the clubs we can play. Otherwise it is banter.
