Jason Koumas (Wigan)

Shefki Kuqi (Newcastle)

Giles Barnes (WBA)

All within our wage structure surely?
All fit into and add strength to the squad where we need it surely?
All young enough surely - no old crocks!

The heat is on for released players and these three out of an enormous list will be looking admirably at the Championship again. Jason Koumas particularly catches my eye.
Aaron Gunarrson should sign quickly or he may find he is out in the cold. Would you take koumas over Gunna? I would.

I think Thorn is rubbing his hands in glee after today's released list.

Isn't Kuqi about 35? I am not too sure on him, the other 2 maybe but Koumas may demand high wages!

Koumas would be a great signing. His set pieces are great

I'd give Giles Barnes a go! Only 22 and played in the prem. Injury prone blablabla..

Koumas is a good shout, he had a fantastic season at cardiff a few seasons back. Mind you, he's suppose to be a bit of a knob apparantly. My dad worked with the wales squad a while back and said he was a nightmare.

Kuqi's an old pro and could do a great job in this division for a season or so yet. Pass on a trick or two to Juke.

Barnes i rate but i just get the feeling he'll be one of those players who could of been so much more without the injurys. Still do a job for us though.

Yes please to all three.

Koumas could'nt get a game at Cardiff last season and has lost the ability to take it away from players, legs gone!!!! good in his day though.

Kuqi please nooooo,, slow, old and never a great goalscoring record, waste of money.

Barnes ,small basic wage with pay as you play deal with goals and assist bonus..... worth a look at.

They may well have been released and may well be realistic, but they're all useless for one reason or another.

I wouldn't take any, kuqi i've never been impressed by, barnes always injured and koumas hasn't looked good since he left west brom.

Wasnt Koumas kept out of the Cariff side by Olifinyana (guessed at the spelling)?? Im sure he was, and there was a reason to this. Not because Koumas was shite, but because Oli (doubt he minds me calling him this, well he wont read this forum so he'll never be able to argue) was imense when we player them!

Maybe a cheeky loan bit to get him on loan this season (Oli that is). Means we'd only have to pay part of his wages, as apposed to agreeing wages with him?? Saying that, he's probably on £03-£40k at Wolves and we couldnt even afford half of that! Would be an awsome (but i admit not realistic signing).
