10mil on player investment ? i would rather we spend wisely if and when any money might be made available with young hungry players that are contracted to the club for a long time, not the get a old has been in on mega wages.

This is where the club has gone wrong before in the past we can not just throw money at the problems on the pitch and off the pitch it will just leave us in the crap 3 years down the line again!! Part ownership of the stadium is very important but also is the academy and building home grown talent there is no quick fix and just because we have some money doesn't mean we should spend it all at once, the squad needs players but it needs the right ones not just a quick fix because we know that doesnt work. The academy should be a stream of income for years to come but we have not had many million pound players come from there so that to me is just as important as the ownership of the stadium.

10M on players could also include wages etc so in reality I doubt we would just piss money in to the wind on a whim we might get back in the prem. As you say would be interesting to start having million pound players adding the little bit of quality we desperately need, just not another Eastwood please!

We certainly need a goal poacher, and these seem to only be available at a premium.

Our midfield is lacking in creativity and our flanks have no pace. ( it is about time that we signed Andrew Driver ).

Those 3 or 4 acquistions including wages would soon eat into the proposed 10million pot.

All of this remains hopeful speculation but let"s hope for a speedy and smooth takeover transition.

I think every part of the club needs to start making money that way all parts of the club will grow and it will benifit the first team, fans and investors. The academy is one part of our club that needs to produce those Star players that will be worth a small fortune like southampton and crewe for example, seem to be able to produce on a regular basis. that is where we can realy start to get money from little outgoing money for a major recoupe when and if they are sold.

Its interesting to hear that they will also be taking over the debt, for some reason I had been under the impression that SISU had been expected to in effect write this off. i believe there had also been talk of it being paid back if we got up in 3 years, similar to the deal SISU offered when they were taking the club over.

Given that the club is arguably in a worse position, both in terms of playing staff and in the league, it give SISU a get out of jail free card.. lets hope they take it.

Well if this £10M does come to the forfront, its a great opportunity but would be too late in the season as this is likely to hit about January at the earliest. I think last season shown us all that we need to top class striker and this would be a sound investment. I think players like ALF are okay but are they going to get us 20 goals a season, i doubt it.

To be fair, our acedemy is producing some good talent at the moment, okay we have not produced a Chamberlain or Walcott but we have some promising youngsters but the most important thing is to keep hold of them rather than shipping them out on the first sign of a bit of cash.

SISU are highly unlikely to take an offer like that. They know first hand how hard it is to get back to the premiership. I bet they won't put a timescale on it.

Driver's been crap since we were linked with him 3 years ago and that idiot of a Hearts chairman hiked up the price. He has also suffered with a few injuries since then.

Don't really fancy spending millions of £££ on another David Bell.

Does this £10m come from a reliable source or is it made up?

they need depth in squad at the moment, no matter what the standard, build on that.

No matter what the standard?!! What?! If the standard doesn't matter than sod it, just use the youth team as back up!
