So many people at the game today saying the following:

  • What the hell is this cashless thing? I can't even buy a beer with my money
  • Come on Macca, go through him (to Baker and Clingan)
Glad we got a few more people down there who haven't been before and I hope we do until the end of the season!

I think we need to confirm a manager and get King etc signed up before people will splash out.

I was expecting at least eighteen-thousand/twenty-thousand fan's with that offer....

Yea i disagree that it was a success, 16k with that offer is shocking. Most championship clubs would get at least 20k with £12.50 for adult ticket.

to be fair, there isn't a lot to play for, not going down, miles off play offs. Glad they are winning but not going to attract more than it did

Are you sure the attendances are right? cause i went through a turnstile that wasn't working, does that mean it still counts the amount of tickets that go through? to me it looked like alot more than 16k and sounded like it too!

When they said 16k i was sure it must've been wrong. It was a lot fuller than normal, i reckon we got nearer 20k.

I've heard that the attendance figures includes all season ticket holders, regardless of if their actually in the ground.

Well you can take 2 off the season ticket number then, cos my 2 season ticket holding mates were both forced to be at work today!

i can remember at HR squashed like sardines in the kop and the OFFICAL attendance annouced as 12000
i think that was a tax dodge
but now i think it's a marketing ploy as no club want's to be the worst supported cause lester fans would be
frothing at the mouth to slag you down with thier eleventy billion fans
