Clear to see the midfield were woeful and needed changing a hell of a lot earlier.
Reactive and not proactive, just like Thorn used to be.

Jennings and Cameron were abysmal, bailey not much better

Cameron - not good enough has to be either Edge or Stewart next match.

Carsleys tactics of hoofing the ball and keep conceding possession and then hope you can hang on through almost 89 mins of complete domination from the away team is naive and also not good enough. Thanks for trying but you are right Lee just not ready.

Can't blame Cameron for that he spend most of the game defending barely getting a breather as we absorbed attack after attack. Lee Carseley is totally to blame for sending the team out to play like that.

Very obvious from the first game and second game that Lee Carsley that I saw that he iis NOT up to manager standard yet.

No blame to him as he has never said he was.

Look at Mark Robins for wrecking this season. SISU should have appointed some od experienced manager very fast just for the rest of the season.

That manager could have used Lee Carsley for support.

Clearly to me the whole SISU saga and the others are the main cause of this. With DMG Coventry were almost certainties for play offs.

Letting DMG go and the Mark Robins exit has cost us dearly.

The likes of Jennings, McSheff and Cameron are not really good enough .

Yeh I agree.

I wanted carsley if he kept things stable

But not attacking at home isn't way to fix form

New manager needed I agree

Worst thing was his not changing things.

I would have taken Cameron off at half time and put Edge on for starters.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Lee say that he wasn't on the final 4 list?

I completely agree, I was going to make a similar thread myself.

He doesn't use his subs, incredibly annoying, and when it was time to freshen up, he passed the opportunity and when his tactics inevitably cost us, he decides to bring Cody on in a bid to scratch the game back! Glad he's out of the running now hopefully.

Yes lets blame statistically our best ever manager, the guy who took us from bottom three to playoff contenders.

Say what you like about MR but he did not wreck our season. Quite the opposite.

His departure is wrecking the season so it is a fair comment

But if we hadn't appointed him there probably wouldn't be a season to wreck.

Again people slandering due to one result? At Bournemouth Carsley used his sub brilliantly.
Has anybody not thought we lost today because we were outplayed by a better side?

We didn't get dominated like that under MR did we!? In fact, we should've won that day!

It's all down to tactics, without dumbing it down, and without using extreme examples (e.g. Barca v pub team), with right the tactics deployed, you can beat anyone.

I didn't go to Bournemouth so cannot, will not judge him for that. I thought he was a reactionary from Crewe (A), and he hasn't done much since to make me change my mind.

No, he was proactive and sought to change the game with subs, he made the first moves, not Carsley, and it cost us.

I honestly don't think they are a better side that's whats infuriated me about today. Carsley got it completely wrong and I think had decided in order to break the home hoodoo would just stick everyone behind the ball and try play on the break. It didn't matter that we were playing Swindon we could have been playing Hartlepool I think he'd have set up the same. Swindon were always going to have loads of possession. Bailey and jennings spent most of the game holding hands with Martin and Cameron (probably to stop him falling over himself) - the gap to Clarke and Moussa was massive. Carsley was on the bench with Shaw for the disastrous 4 games and this spell needs to be ended sharply as well.
