Has it been your daughters birthday on almost every other match day this season as well?

Don't you think it's a little naive to think that when someone say's "we are one of you" that they are doing for real?

Or do you trust politicians, bankers, football club owners, local newspapers and managers who will all tell you they are "one of you" or "they only do it for you"? I couldn't give a shit what the telegraph say or don't say, it won't sway me into buying a paper, believing they are the same as me or on my side.

Oh, of course it wasn't for real, it was to sell papers, including covering our protests and the get cov back in cov campaign, I'm under no illusions.
But that helped the club so I have nothing bad to say about it.

So when you said you won't be in the match thread because of a birthday was you talking shit or not then?

Honestly I don't care, make sure you read up on the players before Colchester as I suspect you don't have a clue who any of them are.

No. My daughter was born on this day 15 years ago and lives with her mother. Today she will be visiting me in the afternoon. So, I am not talking shit. If you honestly don't care, why do you ask stupid questions?

I read up about the players on here and although there have been loads of players in recent times, I have a good idea who is who from the views expressed here. That is why people like me come on to a forum. I live 1300 km from Cov and Cov don't get shown on TV very often.

it gets to a point when you have to explain to forum users why people come on to forums. FFs. Happy Easter!

I meant you never go into match threads anyway, thats why I called it shit not that you were lying about it being her birthday.

I know why you come on to the forums, its to slag the club off whilst patting everyone else on the back.

If you get lost during your first visit to the Ricoh on Saturday one of the stewards will be happy to help you out, also try not to squeal too much in excitement when you see the Wasps badge.

Happy Easter to you to!

That is the most stupid post that I have ever seen on here - I will print it out and frame it. I will not comment on it as I would be dragging myself into your gutter.

Your already there mate, already there.

And thank you, I'm honoured. Should I do the same with one of your posts?

Grow up Nick. Not that I have to explain myself to you or anybody else for that matter, I do feel that I am allowed to defend myself (hence my reply). I've started up a business recently and am busy a lot, sometimes 6/7 days a week so forgive me for not posting when and on what threads you would like. I work away a lot now too so don't get to come on this wonderful forum every day like some on here (some need to get a life and look at other things as life don't revolve around CCFC) so only drop in from time to time or when I can be bothered. Those who know me know how much CCFC mean to me, you don't (your loss) so I wouldn't expect any different from your reply above. Finally, I'll post on what I want, unless of course you chosse differently.

Lastly, there has been lots said on here against people other than Sisu when I haven't said boo. Do I really have to say again that I do hold all parties to blame, just that I hold Sisu/Otium the most to account. Weirdly though you pull me on it but not the ones who say things the other way round :thinking about:

I was only pointing out that it's all the politics stuff and not the actual football. People do have selective busyness when it comes to football, too busy to talk about the football but plenty to spare when it comes to politics.

People can post on what they want, it's just interesting to watch posting / reading habits.

If I'm not at the game it's sometimes difficult to post about ratings and stuff, crystal ball don't always work. Doesn't mean to say that I don't read them with interest. However, Sisu/Otium's performance is always consistent so it's easy to comment on them.........sits waiting for someone to say "and so is CCC and the telegraph's".

Anyway, I have commented on games, players and managers. Just that I and EVERYBODY else on this forum posts more about the off field stuff.

I suspect you have 46 children and each has a birthday to coincide with every game we play.

Can't see anything in the article that matches the headline? Looks like he was asked the question about the club matching ambitions rather than saying "They had better do what I say else I'm off" as the headline makes out.

Exactly my thoughts. Similar to the article with the football finance expert if you isolate the actual quotes the tone of the story changes significantly.

You also have to wonder how these stories start. It seems like a story is already thought up and then they try and get a quote to validate it. I can't imagine a football finance expert randomly phoned up the CT and I can't imagine Mowbray out of the blue started making comments about what he wants from the owners.

Shock horror, the telegraph seems to be the only paper in the world that uses sensational headlines to sell papers.

Could just as easily have been a headline of 'Mowbray plans for next season'. I'd be more likely to buy a paper for that than this sort of sensationalist rubbish.

Fair play to you for going to the game. Look forward to seeing your thoughts about it.

My point is how people are on here a fair bit talking about SISU/ ACL etc but nowhere to be seen when it comes down to the football side of it, I am not talking about people just being on here at the time of the game, but discussing the game before or after etc. Can you see my point?

Oh yeah the Sisu Squad are always on the match thread. Can't move for RobS and Godiva shooting the shit about the quality of our midfield.

Leave it out.

Edit: I am not a clever man and have rather poor reading comprehension. Thats not what you said. As you were.

Did you miss the bit where I put sisu / acl? As in works both ways?

You seem to be agreeing with me about it, probably only on the side who disagree with you though with a blind eye to anybody who says stuff about sisu.

Same can be said about a member of the SCG phoning up the Coventry Guardian to moan about fellow Supporters and then saying we need fan unity .......

In my early days at the Jaguar, we had a book in the office to minute anything stupid said by colleagues. It was all in good fun, although some always tried to come up with a "good reason" for stating something ridiculous, which made it even funnier, as the "good reasons" were then minuted too. The years comments were "reviewed" at Christmas.. (or any time we wanted a good laugh really..) with great hilarity all round. We all featured at some stage or other, but there was one or two who were "regulars"

I imagine you must work on the ground floor grendel, as I'm sure the first floor and above are not capable of carrying the weight of the book in your office, with, I am sure, nearly all the comments attributable to you....
