I believe midday was the time players needed to be signed by to enable them to play tomorrow, no announcement so it looks like we are saddled with what we have, no strikers, no wingers to take on the mighty Wigan, so looks like we are doomed.

Can't wait to get on this site after 5 tomorrow.

We have strikers. People seem to be judging Armstrong on one pre-season game. I think he'll be great for us.

Not pressing the panic button just yet but equally we do have a very hard game tomorrow so i think we need to manage expectations if we do lose as Wigan are likely to gain automatic promotion in my book.

We would have a striker on the bench and not enough room in the squad for Haynes and Thomas who were 1st teamers last year. Whilst we need a winger and striker or two, how many games last year did we leave players like Thomas and Haynes out due to depth of squad ?

People know who we're playing. People also know what division we're in. People ALSO know that it's the first game of a new season and nobody really knows what to expect from either team. Being slightly cautious is natural for most I'd expect.
