That's how you win a game Elvis

Pressley wouldn't have defended that lead, we'd be going for a third.
Well done Burge, looks like you have some confidence left dispite Pressley's bad man management.

Looks more like good fortune to me. Absolutely battered us. But GREAT 3 points all the same.

Definitely had luck on our side today. If I was an MK don fan I'd be miffed walking away from that with not even a point

It wasn't a tactic - I hate to break it to you. Fleck and Barton were shot after 45 minutes and we ended up without any Central midfield.

Samuel ended up having to play defensive right midfield. The substitutions were tactically poor and we got lucky.

Why are our players running out of steam after 45 mins? I think we need a new fitness coach. All credit to the team, but make no mistake about it, we were lucky to win this game.

dont agree at all.

Today was exactly teh same as the Sheff Utd game. We let in 2 there, and got lucky today.

A VERY welcome 3 points, but its was men v boys out there for a lot of the game

Most of the post-match interview was Eakin bleating about Pressley. McFarlane's replies were from a man who knows he won't have a job this time next week.

To be fair McFarlanes interview was a less aggressive sounding pressley. Same adjectives, same droning....

Yep, just got lucky today.

Don't think it was anything to do with the lack of SP at the helm.

A number of tactical errors to be found today.

Seems you do with loans though. I'm pleased the Forest Green Reserve got a goal. Impressed by him.

Thought Blair Turgott would feature today. Fully expected swap with Tudguy.

Would really settle for 2 points from next 2 games.

not so sure we got lucky thats not giving the team credit. i would say it was an extremely hard earned win with some excellent tackles/blocks from the whole team. we defended to deep granted but we defended bloody well

Don't remember us having a shot in the 2nd half, that said it was a great 3 points

We did get lucky. MK should have won by a clear couple of goals at least. There were some great blocks and tackles, yes, but there was also some very poor finishing by them.

We definitely rode our luck today in my opinion.

so poor finishing means we were lucky?? i would say it was just poor finishing, its not like they have peppered the frame of our goal. we could have scored three in the first half had there keeper not made a great save from samuels. so we were also unlucky

That doesn't follow at all. Had he scored, we would not have scored from the resulting corner, would we?

Our goal seemed to lead a charmed life at times. If we defend like that normally, we will get a hammering. We made the most of some very good fortune today. But we didn't have a shot on target after the second goal, 12 minutes in. Let's hope our luck has turned for the next few games too.
