As long slow car crashes go, this has been quite long and quite slow. I stated a few weeks back and it appears to be a belief that has gathered amongst regulars on this forum (and beyond) that if we were to fall out of the play off positions we would not be getting back in.
Well, the car crash thankfully (strangely) is complete. The wreckage lies motionless and now all that remains is a two month clear up operation of the debris. However, and one for the 'optimists' - I genuinely believe there are two more victories to be found amongst that debris, just the two mind.
Final league position? 14th. Staggering.
