London Midland is, I think, the company that has cancelled services at the weekend through lack of drivers. I think they rely on overtime working. They don't sound like the right company to be receptive to additional services

Thought it was because of lack of rolling stock? Now it's drivers?

Seems someone is looking for excuses.

I bet it's CCC's fault that London Midland don't have enough drivers. They have the power you know

It is a waste as it currently stands and i am not sure who put the money up. Don't think it was our council. But i tell what should now be happening Torch. Disgruntled users of the Ricoh on match days football or rugby should be making waves about the ridiculous parking limitations. I can understand some nearby restrictions but 2 mles as the crow flies is crazy and i am certain this puts people off coming, especially those the other side of the city, there are only so many pub/club car parks or bits of land to park on, i can walk, live in Longford but still a decent walk as some twat has put a train line and canal in the way

When most of our fans couldnt be arsed to demonstrate about the state of the club, i doubt they will kick up a fuss about a trainline!
Also i bet the residents around the ground dont think the parking is ridiculous also....

It was in 2013 when they were cancelling up to 20% of their daily services due to a lack of drivers.

Then it's a total waste of money as it doesn't serve the stadium or the retail park. So, why was it built? Who benefited from it?

Someone, somewhere has a brown bag full of cash as a result of this, mark my words!

Whether it be cash for the decision or just a huge profit for the civil engineering company and some fringe benefits for the signees who knows but that £13.6 million wasn't all spent on raw materials that's for sure !

Ignorance is bliss, and he doesn't seem to know what's going on.

I beg to differ, as i said before there needs some parking restriction near to the Arena. But on match days you need permits to park where you park all week, you also need permits for any visitors at a cost of 20 quid. That's okay if you are sports savvy and have a computer, but many don't, older people who have to have visitors for all sorts of reasons don't think of looking to see if there is a match on and now there's rugby union too. I'll ask you a question when do Wasps play next at home ?
