They didn't have a clue.
Neatly missed the kick off because they kept us on the stairs for whatever reason I don't know. Then about 10 police supplanted themselves in among the support, people manhandling the police and things getting very tetchy.
Then we had stewards trying to make us go to our correct seats which were miles away and occupied, and when we finally got there, we had other stewards trying to stop us getting to them.
While all this was going on there was lots if crushing in gangways.

It was awful, really stressful tbh. Always go in my dedicated seat usually, but arrived just after kick off today as coach had broke down. Were not allowed to access the stairs to our seat, so we went down the next and ended up on the gangway with a load of others. Cue an on-going battle for the whole 90 minutes as they tried to clear it, except there was nowhere for people to go. Those that did manage to turf people out of their seat only meant that those they displaced had nowhere to go so stood in the gangways. Rinse and repeat.
It's all becoming a bit of a chore. Think I'm starting to get away day fatigue, just not enjoying them. The wins are keeping me going and I have this sense that I should be there after all the years of shite, would be weird to stop going now, but think I need a break from it. I enjoy home games much more now, which I'd never have said a few years back.
