And, as bad as it was to watch at times, his tactics were effective in the main.
He'll not give you free-flowing football, but he'll make you harder to beat. Could be just what you need.

I think we can conclude from the above that he knows nothing about football

His tactics may have been different at Barnsley, also, he may have learned new stuff in that role he had pre CCFC
